It's not that we're better because we are not
Sometimes love is served better cold instead of hot
So nine out of ten it's mostly me
I don't always take it so easily
So I looked back on my track and I see right where I went wrong
And I apologize I looked into your eyes and turned your heart to stone
It's not that I'm different I'm just a little scared
As you lay there crying you never knew I cared
And why would you want me I'm stained
No one will make you carry the blame
My heart is empty there's only tears
And you'll be long gone before the smoke clears
It's not that I love you my words don't come out right
I was just somebody that got to stand on your light
Yeah I look back on my track and I see right where I went wrong
And I apologize I looked into your eyes and I turned your heart to stone

I heard the sound of broken glass
coming from somewhere in the past
inside the sound I heard your cry,
but I couldn't see the reason why.
The seasons they change
Because God said said they will
and my world is standing still
The things we promised, Heaven or Hell
are lies that we both know so well.
And the pain we've given is coming back
God will help us if we don't loose track
And all the words that we have spoken;
Have been waisted, in the window we've broken.

Wiseman told me this day would end
He told me not to worry another one will begin
Wiseman told me not to carry this Long
He told me somebody's traveling the same road I'm on
Wiseman told me tears leave a stain
He told me that the clouds had a purpose in the rain
Wiseman told me how to comb my hair
How to walk my walk and say I just don't care
He told me how to laugh and stand alone
And how to walk through the crowd
Wiseman was wrong!
This day seems like it will never end
Feels the same as when it first began
There's no one traveling this road I'm on
And I've been walking it for so damn long
And the clouds don't ever bring no rain
But the tears do leave a stain

As long as there is. Tomorrow I have hope for another day as long aS you stand
beside me I will never walk away
As long as there is a night time the stars will shine for you, and as long as the
morning follows girl I'll be following too.
As long as there is a heaven I'll make it through this hell, and along as I see you
smiling I'll know our love can't fail.
And as long as I see you smiling I'll always touch you right, and I will love you
forever, and forever is nowhere in sight.

Have you been to the beach in the summer
And felt the sun on your face by the shore?
Have you looked in the face of tomorrow
Just to see that it's just like today, nothing more?
Have you walked down the street when it's
raining?
Did you think that it's not near enough?
Did you know that I can hear the thunder when
I'm closer
When I'm closer do you want me to touch?
Have you ever been so close to comfort
But you never walked through that door?
Have you only had dreams of pleasure?
Or are you one who always wants more?
Cause I'm here to give you the heavens
I'd like to show you a star
No one but you knows I'm coming
No one but me knows who you are.

I think love has been shattered
and the pieces lie still,
and we dare not fix it
because that's not how we feel.
I think there is darkness headed my way
and I wished I could have given you
more reasons to stay.
but I know you walked out
to find a brighter trail.
and I have no magic, no,
no magic spell.
I couldn't love you I'm not that strong,
I think I've been broken,
now my words come out wrong.
So I'll just be quiet and sit somewhere near,
cause love has been shaken and the pieces lie near.

She smiled and said she's coming
she never made it here.
She smiled and said she loves me,
now I cry this tear.
She brought my dreams to life,
but she's not allowed to stay,
She smiled and kissed my forehead
now all that's gone away.
People tell me she's in a better place,
but I'm still in this hell.
She smiled and walked away
Where she went time can only tell.
Some say its the simple things
But I know that can't be true
She smiled and now I'm crying,
And the tears go into the new
