Into the New
She smiled and said she's coming
She never made it here
She smiled and said she loves me
Now I cry this tear
She brought my dreams to life
But she's not allowed to stay
She smiled and kissed my forehead
Now all that's gone away
People tell me she's in a better place
But I'm still in this hell
She smiled and walked away
Where she went time can only tell
Some say it's the simple things
But I know that can't be true
She smiled and now I'm crying
And the tears fall into the new.
