Food, Music and Wine

I want to be imbued by you
Eaten like a ten course meal,
Food for you

I want to be wooed by you
Sung to like a church choir,
Music for you

I want to be intoxicated by you
Two glasses too deep,
Wine for you

I want to be myself for you
My three favorite pleasures,
Food, music and wine for you

Senses

Amazing the gifts to which God has bestowed
The entirety of our senses about to unfold

Listen close and you will hear
Without the assistance of a trained ear

Magic brewing like an imported keg
You can feel yourself standing on one leg

Drunk with balance and gentle care
And the gifts you’ve been blessed to share

Like scores of those who fill our wits
Let your senses unearth the next big hit

Come Natural

what comes like thunder
pounding what is felt
emotions erupting
a volcano of wealth
a reminder we're only human
our trinity of faith
in our life that happens
choose anger, choose grace
come like lightning
flashing signs of strength
an emotional connection
the voltage you make
come confident, come strong
come humbly when wrong
come like thunder, come like rain
come like the weather
with natural claim

Evolving Eternally

A lot of hurtful things
Said that night
In what was to be
Only Discovery

We pucked honesty
And talked toilet truth
Somehow we tried
To execute the universe

Our soul’s purpose to live
In life, in the present
Not the future or the past
Here on earth,
I too, am learning the balancing act

There’s no pretending
That either one of us know
What the universe has in store
The only truth that lies between
Is the soul’s connection,
Blessed to you and me

Somewhere our egos
A stepping stone along the way
We are two different people
And like no one else
In this world today

There’s no game or manipulation
To make each believe
We both have a mind and connection
To our spiritual balance
And personal creed

Happiness can create
Those boundaries we make
To emotional magnetism
That happens on fate

Here in front of you,
With no agenda,
In Mind, Body and Soul
No question of promise
For either one of us to behold

We’re not here to plan the Future,
Nor question of past
Only discover lifetime connections
And may we always laugh

We’ll not control
The even flow
I’m sure a day will come
And you will see
This person with no agenda,
Evolving eternally

Thanks Dreams

Again and again
I don’t listen
Again and again
I don’t see
You clearly show me the way
And the path that is front of me
Again and again
I don’t hear
Again and again
I don’t look
You help me with the chapters
But want me to finish the book
Again and again
The fire ignites
Again and again
“It” explodes
You remind me of my wings
And inspire me to fly off and explore
Again and again
I find reason
Again and again
I tell myself
Never to forget my dreams
They are my passions of wealth
