Dead Winter

Watching as the snow covers her stone, A tear forms from my heart's deep unknown. Slowly, it fades off my pale, and frail face, Only to be replaced by death's cold, and frozen embrace. I fall to my knee's, Silently begging "Please!" The ice in my soul is beginning to grow, But i still feel her love, from six feet below. All that's left now, is one snow laden rose.

Never Ending War

Walking through the valley of the shadow of death,
They put on their masks and take their last mortal breath.
The masses of few, the congregation of none,
Charge at the helpless wielding their gun.
They watch as their brother dies, with no resentment in his eyes,
Falling to the ground, a bible at their breast,
They pray for forgiveness where their brothers will rest.
You cannot leave, for it's the cause He believes,
Only to be killed by this inevitable disease.

Souls Bound By Corruption

Falling in step by step,
They'll never see the end of this lonely trip.
Justified murder in an unknown world,
The final heartbeat of stories untold.
He takes his last breath,
And exhales a thick fume of death.
He extinguishes the burning the coal,
As God will his soul.
He's bound by a pledge of greed,
To stop the hearts of those who grieve.
The Holy deed is done,
Beneath satans nearing sun.
Crawling to the safety of his soul,
He see's this war is fought for gold.
Those he trusted, followed blindly,
Led him to the Lord, oh so kindly.
Speaking in tones of coveting,
They condemned all their brothers, killed all the free.
All in the name of the Savior,
There lies the final Martyr.

Perfection

Our love soared higher than mountain peaks,
Stayed strong in the valleys when i was weak.
Her face is why the angels sing,
Of God, His glory, such a holy thing.
And of her heart of diamond,
Under no temptation will it bend.
Aphrodite, herself could not stand to see,
The woman who stood smiling at me.
Her angelic figure whos hair fell like gold,
Was the keeper of love and beauty untold.
She stand resolute at marble stairs peak,
There lies the purity and love that i seek.

One Too Many

The engine revs faster,
The transmission grinds as i shift,
I turn the music up to forget why im
here,
Moonlight flooded the ground making
everything crystal clear,
I saw every detail of every object as
it flew past my window,
Yet, i couldnt see anything through
the stone wall in my mind,
The car starts to shake as my speed
increases,
The axles groan with every small
bump,
Its finally time to let off the gas,
Spinning the wheel, i could see my
whole past,
Every mistake, and regret and all the
heartbreak,
Without feeling a thing the whole trip
was over,
Not a drop touched my lips,
But i was never once sober

Heartless

The ice on my skin burns like the sun,
As the freezing steel makes another run.
Searing pain reminds me of why its done,
Medical precision assures the blood will run.
With this pain another news story is spun,
Followed by the segment of the one who used the gun.

Dream Catchers Disappear

The art of dreams,
Is that of Holy things.
Mastered by the abused,
A people of such romantic views.
Once their arts had been taught,
The newcomer repressed their very thoughts.
A man of intergrity, a man of valor,
Helped another in his darkest hour.
His thoughts were clean, his thoughts were pure,
Of the other man's he could not be sure.
When the time came, to all live in peace,
The newcomer came followed by beast.
Giving the order, with sword in hand,
"You will stay here no more!" was his deadly command.

Forgotten

Walking down a lonely road,
I pass a pond which no one knows.
I crept along to its edge,
And deep within i found the courage.
I dropped my eyes to the black abyss,
The things i saw i wished to miss.
The dreams and wishes of the damned,
Staring back i began to stand.
My body ran from that hellish place,
My mind it stayed in death's embrace.
Nevermore, did i see,
The God i praised, watching me.

Earth's Final Night

The suns warmth fades
Beneath a clouded sky of blood.
The Angels cry for aid,
As cities crumble into mud.

The birds of the sky
fled from their homes.
We watch as they cry,
Finding nothing but bones.

The fish of the sea,
They swim for the deep.
They yearn to be free to take another leap.

And of man, the ruler, the image of God,
We descend into madness,
Only a fraud.

Angelic Elite

They stand together, unified,
Only seeing from their mother's eyes.
As they begin to hit their knee's,
They never once hear the plea's.
The Devil's children shouting "Let us in!"
The choir sings once again.
Counting many, being few,
They rejoice together from their pew.
