Sorrowful Melodies

as I sit in the dark.
the light in my eyes fade.
The hope within my heart slowly dies.
As my dreams are herd only by the sky.
I reach for comfort.
But all I here are the painful melodies of my heart.
Someone to hold tight.
Some to help me fight.
I grasp at what appears to be a silhouette.
Yet it is only my shadow.
My soul weakens as despair takes place.
Wont you here my gentle emotion.
Here my falling voice.
To make loneliness a choice
See my quite torture.
As the melodies continue in the background growing louder.
Walking through a phantom door.
Thinking it holds happiness and more.
Thousands of doors.
One for everyone.
One by one they step through.
As do I wish to do.
One by one they are embrace with love and happiness.
And so I too walk through.
Only to find that there is and was nothing ever there.
No one to even care.
So I share my hopes dreams fears heart and soul with an wall in the dark.
So as I always have.
The melodies do not fade but grow even louder now.
Broken I lay there in the dark.
My life not even leaving a mark in the minds of others.
Maybe one day it will be my turn at happiness.
Maybe one day I will no longer here these sorrowful melodies.

Beautiful Selfessness

there are those who cast a shadow.
That which masks there true hearts.
A void of shallowness and veil.
Glimmering faces radiating with contempt.
Kindness under the guise of fake smiles and empty gestures.
To care for someone not to help them but to help are self’s.
We do it for peace.
we do it for forgiveness.
we do it for resplendence.
we do it out of fear.
we do it to gain favor.
we do it for reward in after life.
we do it for ourselves.
Yet their is good within this.
For if everybody cast this same shadow.
If everybody hid beneath this guise.
If everybody did it.
The world in turn would be a better place.
Making mankind beautiful.
Selfishness and all.

Broken Wings

Broken wings
I fall from the sky.
No longer able to soar.
Pain shoots through my core.
Will i look at myself with shame.
Will I place blame.
I can no longer reach my dreams.
Now descending through the boundless shadows.
Shifting figures loom overhead.
Wind carrels my now shattered wings.
Spiral do the emotions of our life’s
My wings not yet strong enough to escape the pain.
Not yet fast enough to run from the sadness.
Not yet developed enough to last through the seasons.
Not yet thick enough to repels the rejection of the world.
No not yet.
But I will still fly.
For black is the heart that remains closed to the truth.
One does not need to grow wings for we our born with them.
So even if my heart breaks.
Even if my friends leave.
Even if the light dims.
Even if the world stops spinning.
Even if there is no more love.
Even if all is dark.
Even if there is no more believers.
I will fly
yes I will fly with these still beautiful broken wings.

One Day

I can still stand.
Even when there is no place to call ground.
I can smile.
Even if I,m the only one
I can laugh.
Even while I,m crying inside.
I can feel.
yes even with a broken heart.
I can play.
Before and after each day.
I can sing.
As the wind carriers my voice away.
and I can fly.
Even when darkness clouds the sky.
I am strong.
even while hurt.
Broken but not useless.
Used but not without worth.
Alone but not forgotten.
Masquerading in false happiness.
living between pain and self hate.
Self worth a theme I can only imitate.
Wasting away in the realm of life.
Disappearing piece by piece.
No longer believing in my own heart.
Needing another s hand to get a new start.
Perhaps one day their will be hope.
Yes one day.

Its Elementary

so soft the winds whispers
so gentle does time shift
so wild does mankind roar
forgive the sinners
for they are already condemned
love the poor for they are your neighbors
comfort the hurt for they were once you
feed the hungry for they are your family
cleanse the wicked
for they are alone
break the hatred
for we are all the same
fearsome is the soul with regret in its conscious
doomed Is the fool who believes there to be no tomorrow
dead are those who lie down and give up
selfish are those who cast away the children
hell bond are those who forsake the world
for the is no light under the silhouettes
there is calm
yet where is peace
there is silence
 yet who has solace
there is a sunset
yet is there a true dawn
lets go find these answers
after all
its elementary
