Shana Campos Poem
Alone I stand watching myself through a mirror trying to find a
way to make everything work for me, my son and my husband.
But everything I have tried fail and my heart as well, alone I stand
watching and waiting for my fears and dreams of horror to finaly end.
But as the days go on and the nights begin to grow I begin to
loose sight of my hearts desire and my love begins to fade away
as if it was nothing but a dream. Alone I stand watching the last part
of me give in to a culture that over power and never let go.
Alone I stand watching apart of me die and lose sight of myself
what I want and have my eyes set on.
Alone I stand watching all that once was and once that never will be.

Shana Campos Poem
Tears fall my heart breaks the love I know no longer dwells in me, my weakness grows, as the blood flows my sarrows show, my faith in life dies as all is taken.
My eyes are blinded and fears become real my voice trembles, my body weakens and my life is no more. She who passed fallows in the shadows calling
for the one who holds her heart. Death becomes us all, deathis only the begininghe who lives beneath us all shouts out to the world for your time
is now my love come to me and i shall be mercifull to thee. She cries out and says take what you will but my soul you shall not have.
For the two I carry takes all that I am, not in body but in mind they have the keys to hold me near, she replies
