The Big Oak Tree

Bullets scream above my head Rifles pointed in all directions Earth and shrapnel pound my helmet My gun is hot and almost empty The trench has deteriorated, it's vulnerable We all desperatly crawl for safety Heading towards the big oak tree Minutes are an eternity in the merciless mud While being picked off one by one I'm almost there my oh sweet haven Refuge is only feet away Everyone made it to the big oak tree As fellow soldiers cheer the way Assuming i'm the last and almost free Then i hear a cry say help me please! Not too far there sits a man Surrounded by gunfire in his direction Tears are flowing down his cheeks Turning around i swiftly crawl I grab his hand and yell lets go! Preparing myself to face it all Grenades are thrown and knock us down I stood him up and we begin to run Ignoring the metal in our legs Our eyes are locked on the big oak tree Yet in the distance i see a gun Pointing at him the guy in front I push him down into the mud A powerful noise pierced the air We both go down with a thud He rolls me over onto my back Applying pressure to my chest And drags me to the big oak tree My vision blurred i faintly see Everyone is surrounding me I feel someone grab my hand Covered in shades of red My mouth is filled with the taste of iron I struggle to breathe i cannot swallow With my final breath i softly say "I finally made it to the big oak tree."

Invisible

To be seen but never noticed
Like a ripple in the water
That dissapears before your eyes

Blunder

It all begins with a notion That transforms into erosion Then follows with some confusion I don't want your temptation You were never my creation Accomplice of my suffocation Throughout my nightmares i have dreamt I won't have a final attempt Evading your divulged contempt Searching for a simple target I am unwilling to forget Attracting me like a magnet It's not easy to stop pretending Hard to protect what your defending To be forever condescending I am not the one to complain Furious eyes full of disdain You're impossible to sustain You were never close to being right Second chances slowly dim the light You are nothing but an oversight

Be My Butterfly

The sunset glows and no one knows it's you
Don't be afraid
The stressful day has pulled you away from love
Once again
All the shade will slowly fade in time
Behind your eyes

You try so hard, it falls apart
Hold on tight with all your might
Extended arms open wide

Be my butterfly
Take flight butterfly
Fly high butterfly

The moonlight stares while taking care of you
Through the night
Every tear you cry a distant star will die
Until you sleep
A shooting star is what you are to me
I promise you

You try so hard, it falls apart
Hold on tight with all your might
Extended arms open wide

Be my butterfly
Take flight butterfly
Fly high butterfly

Before you wake the morning waits for you
With a smile
A great release of graceful peace arised
Inside your heart
You begin to stand with both your hands held high
Stretched to the sky

You try so hard, it falls apart
Hold on tight with all your might
Extended arms open wide

Be my butterfly
Take flight butterfly
Fly high butterfly

Wonderland

No way out one way in My pulse is wearing thin Crudeness, followed by my beaten feet There was a reason for us to meet I tell you now i tell you then I love you, i repeat again and again Cliche is my middle name Fighting to win this wicked game I talk so you shall listen Eyes of pearls begin to glisten Frozen, emotionless you remain You and me i proclaim A choice you soon must make A tragic risk i'm willing to take Follow me and i will show A lifetime you have never known I am here you are there Trust me now it's only fair Believe in me as i believe in you Feel this love it's ever true I am the future he's the past Staying with him will fail to last You deserve an honest man Someone who will know and understand Fates with us not with him I will prove that love can swim Leave that Grinch you hold so dear When you do I'll be waiting here He won't wait unlike me Off in the distance i will be With a rose by a well you will see me stand Across the decaying bridge to wonderland

Hide To Seek

Is this for real? Fight to conceal Focus on how to escape No more time to contemplate You are on a winning streak Figured out you gotta hide to seek Life is a game it's your turn If you lose, everyone will learn Break right through stone cold eyes Leave them dead with surprise You are hidden, no one knows Confusion saves your deadly foes Curiosity takes a peek Wonders why you gotta hide to seek Picking them off one by one Hoping you'll be the only one It's so quiet your breath is loud Worried they're gonna find you now Your mind races what to do Soon your face is turning blue You are blind, your voice is lost How will you pay for the cost? They will catch you, don't make a peep I am your eyes while you hide and seek

Two Hearts

A womans heart is as deep as the ocean
The heart of man is the land that surrounds it

Insight of Value

Appreciate the bright blue sky For days grow dark through weary eyes Breathing in the crisp clean air Instead of wandering in despair Smile wide with open arms Without the thought to withdraw Enjoy the aroma of a rose Instead of worrying about the thorns Be a generous giver And not think about the cost Have a heart that's rich Instead of one that's bitter Understanding the aspect of time Isn't by glancing at the clock Patience, the present is your future Instead of wallowing in the past Stay wise and you will see The fool you used to be Confessing all your faults Rises you to your best
