This Girl

This girl, she's crying inside,
But all everyone sees is smiles,
This girl, she's hurting inside,
She's lived like this for quite a while,
Always holding her pain inside,
She won't ruin everyone's time,
This girl, she's breaking down inside,
But all she does is smile,
Those deep eyes,
Hold a lot world of misery,
Playing pictures from her mind,
Showing her past, her history,
She doesn't want to remember,
But the memories continue to play,
Every night she prays,
Wishing them away,
But this girl lies with her laugh,
And hides behind a mask,
So that no-one can see her pain,
Her past, her denials,
This girl, she's dying inside,
Although no-one can see her pain,
She just continues to smile bright,
From day to everyday,
With beautiful lying eyes,
For everyone to see,
Everyone and anyone,
Everyone but me.

History

History has a funny way of always coming out to play peeping through with fierce, red eyes seeing through my well worn disguise there's something there I can't explain like an exception to deceipts sick game I trust him with my deepest thoughts he completes me, this is for what I have sought all I can do is trust his word trust is not that absurd that's what makes this demon called past merely a memory that will last I can't complain to be fair I look in the mirror see what's standing there the wall is still here, it's yet to go but in my eyes I see room to grow I want him here that man I trust the one that makes me want mto adjust here by my side to hold my hand and walk with me through complicated land to know the real me, know everything I think we both deserve this trusting thing So history come out to play just know I'm not going to run away.

Angel Eyes

I miss you more than words can say
Some moments make me want to join you
But I put on a smile everyday
It's hard to keep up, but is all I can do
Are you proud of me? Am I doing right?
I just need a sign you're watching over me
Reality has an awesome bite
I wish I could see as you see
Life has hurt me bad, I guess you know
I'm lookin to you for an answer
My feelings are swelling, soon to blow
But I keep on like an elegant dancer
I sit with my thoughts of you
That way I dont feel so alone
I know you will help me pull through
You are here although you're gone
Those heavy wings of yours grew lighter
Now you're up there with the wise
My future will get brighter
Because it's guarded by your eyes

Flying With Words

I write for the same reason I breathe,
If I didn't I would die,
Without words to express myself,
Life is a broken winged bird that can't fly.

I write my soul down word for word,
I write things I could never say,
Without this method of expression,
I would cry every day.

I try to forget all the regret,
Or else life is mine to miss,
Without saying how I truly feel,
Then I'll always stay like this.

So I write for the same reason I breathe,
It's so that bird can fly to the sky,
I need to rise higher and higher,
And finally stop asking why.

Drowsy Love

You to me are perfection,
Laying in the golden sun,
Green grass, white clouds,
You and I are the only ones.

I look into your eyes,
You take my hand in yours,
We have a whole conversation,
In this momentary pause.

I close my eyes and lean into you,
Your actions mirror mine,
Our lips touch and there's an explosion,
Followed by a leap in time.

Just after this my alarm rings,
And i raise my drowsy head,
I cry because you're not here,
You're in my dreams instead.

Life In the Past

None of us know how the story ends,
That's what makes life so complicated.
Should we live like there's no tomorrow?
Love like we'll never get hurt?
Accept ourselves for who we are,
And accept others for their differences?
Admit we are wrong and be humble when right?
No, it will never be like this,
We are too busy living in the past,
Rather than living for our future.

Mirrors

In this maze of mirrors
Nothing's as it seems
It rips and twists and stretches
All your hopes and dreams
There's no-one here to help you
No bread trail to guide you out
No-one to hear you scream
Or care when you shout
You're stuck till you find the end
There's no shortcut in this game
Every way you turn
The outlooks still the same

Fragile

I feel like an autumn leaf,
Fragile in the wind.
Leaving the tree to fall underneath,
With the life of the branch within.
I fall through the depths of time,
With a fluid, dance like motion.

Future Gain

It's all a common misconception,
Living in a world of dark deception,
No-one really knows the truth,
Horming new generation youth,.
Cannot configure right from wrong,
We're stringing them all along,.
Leading them to a bleak future,
One with nothing but a dying culture,
I'd like to say "we can change",
But we are all too stuck in our ways,
Change isn't seem as something good,
It's about making things understood.
