Mirrors

In this maze of mirrors
Nothing's as it seems
It rips and twists and stretches
All your hopes and dreams
There's no-one here to help you
No bread trail to guide you out
No-one to hear you scream
Or care when you shout
You're stuck till you find the end
There's no shortcut in this game
Every way you turn
The outlooks still the same

I have enjoyed reading your poetry today and I am sure it will bring inspiration to another poet. I love poetry that is written from the heart as I believe that is where the best poetry comes from. I wish you a wonderful weekend filled with Love, Good Health and loads of Inspiration Loretta. Love, Carol
