All White

She's dressed in all white
And for once something feels right

She dreamt of this day
He entire life

The day she would
Become someone's wife

Yet one thing
Is missing from her perfect day

The one thing that proves
It's not perfect in anyway

She doesn't care
If she looks beautiful to anyone

She only wants to ask a
Certain someone

As she holds a fire helmet
In her hands

She knows no one around
Her understands

She looks down at the the
Helmet and asks what
She wants to know

Daddy does my
Beauty show?

She waits for an
Answer but doesn't hear a word

She wonders if
Her daddy heard

She knows this is one
Place her and her daddy are not
Far apart

So she looks deep
Within her heart

She looks and looks
And finally finds the right
Place

Where her and her
Daddy stand face to face

She then asked the question
Daddy does my beauty show?

Sweetheart, do you really
Not know?

Your beauty shows
Every single day

This is something I
Shouldn't have to say

Your beautiful
Inside and out

So there is nothing
to worry about

If you are scared
To do this without
Me

I want you to
Know you don't
Have to be

I'm here in you
Heart

So nothing can tear
Us apart

You are and always
Will be my little
Girl

You will always
Be my world

It doesn't matter
If I'm no where to be
Found

Just know
I'm always around

So on this day
If you are scared
That you are dressed in all white

It's ok
Daddy's here to
Make things right

I will be beside you
every step of the way

And don't worry
It's here that I
will stay

Love Is Brutal

You pick up the pieces
of your broken heart

The one that he
tore all apart

With his hurtful words
and painful lies

With every word
a part of you dies

Love is brutal
but not like this

He's not supposed to make
you fear his every kiss

You can let him go
STAND up and FIGHT

Give him up
for what you know is right

Find someone who
will love you

Someone who is
honest and true

Find that someone who
with every kiss

You will soon begin
to miss

Love is brutal
but in time you will find

Love is also
patient and kind

Daddy

Daddy do you remember
all the times we had together?

When you took me fishin
and you got everything together like we were going on a mission

I would sit in your truck while you blared the song "Bad to the Bone"
without you ive never felt so alone

Daddy do you remember
all the times we had together?

When you taught me how to ride my first bike
you wouldn't let me give up without a fight

Everytime I would fall
you wouldn't let me give up at all

You would say to me "don't give up that's not how I taught you
you get back on even if you are all blue"

"And if you shall fall again
pick the bike back up and give it a spin"

"You don't ever give up and quit no matter the fall
you get back on and give it your all"

Daddy do you remember
all the times we had together?

I'M Waiting

I'm waiting
waiting for it to finally hit me
waiting for it to finally sink in
waiting for the right time to just give up and give in

I'm waiting
waiting for the time to let go
waiting for the time I have to say goodbye
waiting for my tears to surcome and let myself cry

I'm waiting
waiting to let my heart know the truth
waiting here for however long it takes
waiting to be ready when my heart breaks

All this time I've been waiting
waiting for myself to wake up
waiting for myself to catch reality
when the whole time I really just want you back with this family

I miss you more than words can say
I hate that everything ended this way
That's why I've been waiting
waiting for you to come back
waiting for you to make us laugh
waiting this whole time to some how let go
waiting for the time to let you know

I'm waiting
waiting to walk down that isle
waiting to look beside me
waiting to hurt at the fact that you can't help me

One More Moment

If I had one more moment,To say how I feel I would tell you to come back because none of this feels real.

I would hug you, and never let go oh I miss you more than you will ever know.
I would tell you I love you each and every day and check on you to see if you are ok.

If I had one more moment. To spend with you we would go fishin on the big ocean blue.

We would tell stories about how you made me laugh all the time, it's crazy how for you I can make a little rhyme.

I wouldn't let not one word go unsaid, I would tell you exactly what's in my head
If I had one more moment, I wouldn't just yet tell you goodbye because just the thought that I would have to makes me cry.

I would tell you to stay a little longer there is still so much more for you to discover
Like the day you give me away.

Or the day you meet your grandbabies and spoil them with all sorts of candies
If I had one more moment I would tell you exactly what you mean to me
I would tell you that you've made me so happy.

First Kiss

Our First Kiss
took me by surprise

Never would I have
thought these feelings
would arise

That kiss
made me feel
something I never felt before

And it shook
me to the core

I felt my heart
start to race

I remember
I could feel it in my face

That tingly sensation
that led to a smile

That feeling
I haven't felt in a while

That kiss
was the start of something real

I couldn't believe
that this is how I feel

The butterflies
started to flutter

The feeling was
like no other

You kissed me
and it changed my life

And on June 16th
I became your wife

Then you kissed me
it took me by surprise

All of a sudden
this feeling started to arise

You are my best friend
a partner I never had before

And still you
shake me to the core

When I looked
at you my heart started to race

I know because I
could feel it in my face

You gave me the tingly
sensation that led to this smile

And I know I will
feel like this for a long while

That First Kiss changed
everything for me and you

It made my love
for you so strong and true

Our First Kiss is something
I won't ever forget

And something I won't
ever regret

So when I am asked
"What do you miss?"

My answer will always be
"Me and my husband's First Kiss"

Bully

Why do you bully
the weak?

Is it because
they are what you consider a "geek"?

Why do you insist
on tearing them down?

Do you live to see
people frown?

The words you say
are hurtful in every way

Did you think about
how their day has already been?

Maybe if they told you
would you listen to them?

How would you feel
to be bullied everyday?

Knowing no one cares
what you have to say?

Just to come home
and be bullied again

Wishing that their
lives would just end

It's not right to bully
just because their not the same

How do you think they feel
when you don't call them by their real name?

The next time you bully
stop and think about how it would feel

To see the pain
through their eyes would feel so surreal

Maybe you would
understand their pain

And realize that your
the one to blame

So please don't bully
the weak

Just because
you consider them a "geek"

Strong Willed

She's Strong Willed
as she holds back the tears

What had just happened
was one of her worst fears

She never thought
this day would come

The day she
would have to burry a loved one

Yet she carries herself
as if she's battling the cries

Even though the pain
inside still lies

She pushes it all
down so no one sees

That the hurt
puts her to her knees

She hides it all
behind her smile

Not knowing all
the while

That everyone can see
what is really going on

They know none of her
pain is really gone

She will pretend she
isn't upset at all

Even though the world
around her is beginning to fall

She doesn't want
no one to know how
it makes her feel

In fear of talking
might make the pain real

She is strong willed
but doesn't know

That her pain
really does show

I Do

When I said I do
I was vowing to always love you

I meant
Through thick and thin

And I would stick it out
Till the very end

It doesn't matter
what goes wrong

I will help you
come out strong

When I said I do
It was completely true

Just those two words
Explained everything

From that point on
Our lives would never be nothing

When I said I do
It wasn't just words to me

I said them
Knowing fully who we would be

And the most rewarding part
Was pledging my heart

From that moment everything would be
Done together

I'm so happy
That it means forever

The best part was watching you
Look at me and say

I do

Scared

I feel like
I've been pushing you away

I still feel
like that today

I'm scared
of losing you

I really hope
you know that's true

I love you
more than I can express

And each day
I feel I need to impress

But if
I lose you now

There will be
an emptiness that
I will have to allow

My heart would
be broken

And words would
be left unspoken

I can't imagine
the level of pain
that will come

I believe that
it will make me numb

I know
if I do lose you
I won't be prepared

But more than that
I will be scared
