A Letter To My Lover

I know that God is the master and all knowing
and with this gift of life,
he gave me you without showing
me how to handle all the love
and feelings thats included
i spend my days trying to show my love;
and work on how to prove it
its been a challenge keeping you to myself
cause other women see what their missing
and you don't have the strength just yet
to be flattered from a distance
your charm and grace has been misplaced,
it should be mine and mine alone
and marriage is a scary place
when the trust is completely gone
the choice is mine for the first time
i feel that love is not enough
i need more from you cause time has proven
temptation can call your bluff
so ask yourself if this is what you want
and please make a commitment
today's the day just ask yourself
if you have any resentment
for the woman you say you love
and choose not to be without
time will not wait you must escape
if you have any doubt

Autumn Air

Summer sings silent songs
Autumn air arrives Aloud!
Careless, clumsy, cool, crisp
Lingers like a lullaby

Forbidden Friendship

I called you, but i was hoping you didnt answer
I just wanted you to know, I was thinking of you
My feelings for u are speading like cancer
And i do not know what to do

We were to be friends that now seems artificial
Emotions got caught up without any warning
No words were spoken to confirm our dismissal
But i understand silence and ignoring

Another life time might grant us, the freedom we need, to be with
                             each other
A romantic that's hopeless it seems, for what do i know of you as a
                             lover
And now I'm left to ponder, but not alone cause I still see you in my
                             dreams...

Why Is It Blue

You ever stopped and wondered why
There is no end to this endless sky
The planes, the trees, the birds have tried
So far beyond the naked eye
But still you have to wonder why

You ever stopped and wondered why
A crayon can just be applied
To the art work children draw with pride
To complete their picture perfect sky

You ever stopped and wondered why
A blue and not a yellow sky
The rays of sun have all been dyed
If you could change it would you try

Title: Blue on blue on blue
						  selection: sky

Unanswered Question

a question was raised
so i raised my hand
does a two parent home
raise a better man
then that of a single
whether male or female
will the kid end up dead
or end up on jail
are those the only two options
and will they follow in the same
foot steps as their parents
who may think its a shame
that they're doing it alone
so they don't raise their hand
does two parent home
raise a better man?

My Hearts Song

you ever had a song touch your heart
so much you just stand still
and listen to the words as if
they were gods only will
to touch you with these words
at this one moment left in time
you're caught up in the moment
as the song begins to wind
and as you sing your final note
and have your final thoughts
you say your peace
for now at least
there's hope left in your heart
