Riddle Me This

Riddle me this
 a question I raise
this thing I have found still keeps me amazed
This thing has no weight
 or numbers or size
there is little use seeing it
 for it confuses the eyes.
It has no length
though at times it is too short
if you have figured it out, my your quite a sport
If I‘ve got you stumped how about some more clues
with out a little of this
 there would be no you.
It has no smell and the taste isn’t there
but if you have it
 people will stare
it has no color though
I have heard it can be blue
some times with green eyes
is that the right clue
you can look your whole life
and find it just once
if it has not come to you yet
please don’t feel a dunce
I have heard people say it is sent from above
if you need one more clue
lets just call it love

Internet Education

I have an internet education
I graduate everyday
I have an internet education
I bookmark my favorite page

I know about civil war
In Bosnia and the Sudan
and that one in the United States
that forged "American"
Water rights in Tibet
Afghanistan's hidden resources
Machinery for the war
we haven't fought yet
revealing plotted courses

Challenge me to any thing
it not about how fast I type
It is a perennial philosophical reflection
that if one looks deeply into oneself
one will discover not only one's own essence
but also the essence of the universe.
For as one is a part of the universe
as is everything else,
the basic energies of the universe
flow through oneself
as they flow through everything else.
So it is thought that
one can come into contact
with the nature of the universe
if one comes into contact
with one's own nature.

In seconds I can translate
Chinese and Tagalog
Create a web site, delete a face book
even start a blog (Beaureguard Schmeltzer)
I have an internet education
every day I am learning more
with my internet education
its about me like never before.

Now who do I share this with
my lessons of life
I spent twenty five years at the keyboard
my muscles are tight.
I miss me...

Until tomorrow and the school bell rings again.
Keep up your education any way you can.

Never keep to your self the beauty that is inside
share your time, your life, your spirit with others.
Get out, enjoy, play music, paint.
Bring home the white clouds again.

Arthur Schopenhauer, how did you know?

One Red Light

You kiss me at the door
Your eyes say good bye
As I walk away
Before the morning light
A long drive a head
One light
And it’s red
Just a turn and a stop up the road
Take me to
My other home
Live stock gets fed
As I amble through my day
Doing the things that I do
Finding ways to keep entertained
Till its over
And I head back to you
Take me to
My other home
Just a stop and a turn up the road
One light
And it’s red
A long drive a head
Two masters can test a mans soul
Family, love, earth, mud
Can top a bottomless pit
A welcome sight
The bright porch light
And inside your eyes wait for me.
Knowing tomorrow again
The day will start with a kiss
As I walk away
From your adoring light

When

When did I turn back?
I wonder
When was I so alone?
When it was
I do not remember
Why every dream goes so wrong?
I see myself
I set direction
Recreate myself with each selection
Doing this emits correction
So I thought
So I thought
Everything seems superficial
As tangible as I see myself to be
Empty of heart in other people
Was my neglect
still blind
 I see

Your Voice

When I hear your voice,
I drift a bit away to a place of peace and sweet, sweet harmony.
If heavens missing you.
I pray we are never though,
It takes so long to find someone who fits.

An angel
You appeared so accepting of me.
I stand frightened.
 Have no desire to direct,
 would never judge or disrespect

How will I share with you my thoughts?
If you keep yourself away.
Trying to protect your heart.
From loving me.

I have taken chances before,
lost all I had and more.
I will do it all again
because I know that in the end,
 I will have your love
