Why Try

Why try to love,
When all I get is pain,
Pain for being human,
For loving another,
Another that doesn’t love me.

Why try to forget,
When I can never forget,
Everything haunts and taunts me,
Throwing me back into a blackhole,
Of hurt and tears.

Why try to live,
When in the end I will recieve death,
No matter how much I deny it,
And try to be happy,
For absolutely nothing.

Why try to succeed,
When I know I will fail,
Even when I keep a good mindset,
Thinking I can do it,
Just to be rejected and pushed back.

Why try to love,
Why try to forget,
Why try to live,
Why try to succeed,
I have no answer.

Patience Is Key

Life will always get you down,
The key is to get yourself right back up,
Even when the fog rolls in,
And the rain starts pouring,
Just get out a flashlight,
And an umbrella and keeping going.

When you feel that love will never find you,
Don’t give up,
Just wait,
The right one will come to you,
They could be right in front of you,
All you need to do is open your eyes,

Life always gets worse,
Before it can get better,
Wounds have to hurt,
Before they can heal,
Don’t dwell on the pain,
Just think of when it’s finally gone.

I know life is tough,
And it may seem unfair,
But just push through it all,
Things will change for the good,
They always do,
You just have to be patient.

Meth

Life moving quickly,
Reflexes out of control,
Chewing piece after piece of gum,
Smoking cigarettes one after the other.

Thinking a million and one thoughts per second.
Paranoia has the best of me,
Missing my love to the worst extent,
Typing faster than a hurricane can blow.

Sweating like a pig,
Or so it feels.
Not comprehending what others are saying,
Becoming nervous and wanting more.

Too Good To Be True

Too Good to be true

I was told once that everything is too good to be true,

I never believed this,

Everything happens for a reason,

If the blackness in my soul is too good to be true,

Then why does it hurt me so,

It's supposed to be too good,

I don't understand why I'm used like a rag doll,

For other people's enjoyment,

Is it entertaining to play with my emotions?

-

I've been in Love before,

I know how it feels,

Is Love always to good to be true,

I don't know what I'm feeling right now,

Every tear I shead over this situation,

Is just another raindrop into the puddle that is my life,

I realize new things everyday,

Is it too good to be true?

-

What I know is that every tear lost,

Is never returned in the same state,

It's returned from regret or sorrow for wht I feel,

Never the same one,

Is it too good to be true that I'm in love again,

Or is it Love at all?

Maybe I'm just too stressed to realize,

That what I'm feeling isn't real,

Or Not caring if it's real just yet,

Just pondering whether my feelings are his feelings.

-

I think this is all too good to be true,

My puddle of life is growing with all the tears I shed,

I will soon become an ocean of pain and torture,

The black cloud of smoke that hangs over me will get thicker,

More tears will shower down upon my life,

I will drown with the silence,

The silence that he gives,

What he doesn't tell me is what really makes it all too good to be true.

Mind Over Matter

Sitting still in the dark,
Not looking for love,
Yet so eagerly yearning it,
My heart is calling out,
I can't stop these feelings of pain.

Around all those with love in thier life,
Trying to stop them for my own,
Feeling selfish, yes, but needing not,
Not of my own will but of the will of my heart,
My brain is screaming no while my heart pushes on.

Annoyance to others to avoid,
Everything seems so dark and lonely,
Rejecting chances at love,
For fear of being hurt and tortured,
Seeing everyone else prosper.

Why must everthing fail with me,
Everything hurting and aching,
Feeling sick due to my emotions,
Love has no plan for me,
Left to die on a cold rainy night.

Fates Choices

Fates Choices:

Part one:

Pushing my life into fates hands,

Causes my mind to worry with fear,

Wondering what is,

And what will become,

As a result, my life is in shambles.

Now, as I lay here thinking,

I realize that fate isn't helping,

I'm being slowly dragged down,

Down the familiar black river,

The one I know all too well.

I've thrown myself into it many times before,

This time, fate brought me here,

Is this where I'm supposed to be,

Swimming in the deep waters of pain,

Drowning from all the hurt and worries?

Fated seemed to be a golden door,

An exit from reality,

It was supposed to be my life the way it should be,

Either fate is a lie,

Or I am doomed to be trapped in cold dark waters.

Part two:

A person steps to the cold muddy bank,

And extends a hand to pull me out,

He is kind and caring,

He pulls me into the sunlight,

Perhaps fate isn't so bad,

I feel warmth and happiness,

I'm surrounded by light and hope,

In my mind,

All is well.

I've allowed myself to feel again,

I'm happy and letting others in my life,

The man who saved me,

Treats me better than anyone in my life has treated me,

My strong bonds of friendship tighten,

This is all too good to be true.

Part three:

My skin begin to itch,

My body sweating,

I am ignorant to what is happening,

As I'm enjoying this new,

And forgetting the old,

I've begun to burn,

The suns heat is pounding my skin,

Seeping inside me and drying my soul,

I am careless and happy,

Other's can see,

They yell to me that my skin is melting,

My own life fading before their eyes.

As I'm having a sudden epiphany,

I hear a slow laugh break out,

It becomes louder,

Deeper,

Before I can see who it is coming from,

I'm lifted into the air,

The man who saved me,

Laughs as he throws me back into my murky beginning.

As I drift to the bottom,

Struggling to move my useless limbs,

I catch a glimpse of the man,

As he turns from the river,

I close my eyes,

And prepare to die.

The End

The Thing About Sex

The thing about sex is,
It can be fun,
Yet it can be terrible.

The thing about sex is,
It can unleash a side of you that you didn't know,
Yet that side can be dangerous.

The thing about sex is,
That, if played well, is exhilarating,
Yet it can be exhausting.

The thing about sex is,
Its better with the right person,
Yet can feel better with the wrong person.

The thing about sex is...
Screw it, sex is great.
