Shawna Johnson Poem
I keep re-reading your text,
helped in my daily routine,
erased feelings of being vex.
Can't see what's behind life's corner,
what's next?
At least now, I choose not to be perplexed.
Throw away idle problems,
Life is already too complex.
I put on my specs, allowing your poetic text,
to elevate my mind,
higher than a package flown from FedEx.
Thoughts searching,
Like the mentality of Malcolm X.
Your words built me up,
like strong muscular pecks.
Standing tall,
like an enormous Tyrannosaurus Rex.
You make me smile,
Like I am about to receive a million dolla' cheque.
In your text,
zero mentioned about sex.
You wrote simple,
heartfelt words,
nothing to reject.
Yet, as I read, thoughts dictated
my body's flow,
unleashed a hidden treasure, marked with X.
Desiring to kiss you,
stroke my tongue on your neck,
wanting to have you as my hobby,
a special school project.
My desired play toy, my favourite object.
Going wild,
Like the partying French from Montreal,
province Quebec.
Your kindness for me, comes from your soul,
U don't look to me as a criminal suspect.
You see my genuine nature,
helping to heal,
a constant ship wreck.
So what the heck?
It's already too late,
You have established the position of my supportive wooden deck.
Maybe you'll be around for a lifetime friend,
hopefully not an ex.
If that's the case, and we vanish,
I will always reflect.
Soothing words,
Like the finest, sweetest oral sex.
Thanks for YOUR extended words,
Now MY cherished text!!

Shawna Johnson Poem
Learning another language, excitable fun
As tongues wildly run.
Enriched vocabularies with foreign words,
Elevated like flying birds.
Step away stagnant conversation crew,
Jump in rainbow of speech
To teach,
A new view.
Eliminating dreary words,
moods of blue.
I have a best freind from france,
French!! The song of romance.
Even though for now, my spoken french is not a lot,
Un petite peu,
I'll continue to learn french
For fun,
So my tongue can wildly run.

Shawna Johnson Poem
I am grateful for a beautiful friendship.
Our 1st meeting was unique,
my heart alive doing a flip.
Ur soul is real,
refreshing like a cool river dip.
Ur not a backstabber and gossip,
Perfect vascetomy of negativity, snip!
Chains unleashed,
Making me free up,
like a skinny dip.
Conversations flow,
Round and round,
hula hoop on the hip.
Laughing over nonsense,
like reading a comic strip.
Giving advice to deal with trials,
delivering a helpful tip.
You are trustworthy,
And secrets easily escape
from my lip.
Always want to be in your realm,
within my grip
If we never met
It would be like Gladys Knight,
with only one Pip.
Your presence addictive like a potato chip.
Knowing you has made me focus,
ready, well and equip.
Thanks my pal,
for your special friendship!

Shawna Johnson Poem
All colors are feelings, emotions, games of the heart.
So let's start.
I'm brown like fertile soil
Preparing to be planted next to you,
growing united, so true.
I'm dreary blue,
When ur not by my side,
Yearning for you to be inside.
If I said I didn't desire you,
I know I lied!
I'm a groovy purple,
Relaxed in your arms with content,
Breathing in your enchanting scent.
I'm a cowardly yellow,
Not screaming,
I'm in love,
Like a crazed, insane fellow.
Red hot heat,
anticipates our next encounter,
Daydreaming of you,
Each passing hour.
I'm tickled pink,
When u kiss me in my special spot,
Even though I told u trouble would start!
I'm green with envy over the inventor of the clock,
How come he didn't add a hand
for time to stand still,
With a giant lock.
All colors are feelings, emotions, games of the heart,
Your body the canvas,
I'm the paint and brushes,
So, let's start!

Shawna Johnson Poem
The ignorant mind says poetry is boring,
Without even knowing,
A poets words come from the heart,
Hearing their inner voices as their flowing words start.
Poetry portrays personal experiences, conspiricies, hurts and joys
Poetry expresses thoughts, visions, ways of life, even personal strife.
Some poets rhyme just for fun, other poets tell a story as their minds wildly run.
Some pooets question ur mentality and make u ponder and think,
Hitting u hard and what u heard, u just can't disregard.
Poems can help ur mind
Its for u to seek the words and see what u find.
The ignorant mind says poetry is boring.
That way of thinking must be changed and rearranged,
Because we are today with talented poets
As strong and beautiful lyrics flow.
So now we all know
Poetry is bliss, so please don't diss.
For those that say poetry is boring,
Perhaps u have somerthing to tell.
Pick up ur pen, pencil, dictionary,
And pick up ur mind from the floor,
Look deep inside and explore
Wake up ur brain and be alive and strive to relish in the spoken word.
Maybe u too are a poet and u didn't even know it!

Shawna Johnson Poem
I wonder what happiness feels like?
Filled with joy,
Instead of soulful emptiness,
like a lifetime hunger strike.
I wonder what happiness feels like?
For my mind to be free,
Instead, evil circles me,
spinning like wheels of a bike.
I wonder what happiness feels like?
Confidence leading the path,
erasing a dyfunctional surfacing past, a never ending hike.
I wonder what happiness feels like?
Cheerful laughter, everyday,
Instead of heartache pain,
piercing like a spike.
I wonder what happiness feels like?
I will wonder for the rest of my life, OR end up behind the door labelled Psych!!
