Leanne Cahill Poem
I ventured far from heaven
My feet gracing the earth
Humans giving an immortal
A mortal heart birth
My wings cramped as I venture
Invisible to all
But as I continue my adventure
I hear the royal call
As I spread my wings to fly away
I see you standing there
With your bright blue eyes
And your long white hair
You skin is white and sickly
But I see your beauty too
As my eyes catch your smiling face
I can't help but smile back at you
My wing fold back
As I hear the call again
For now I've seen your beauty
And here I must remain
Wings only visible to immortals
Begin to dissapear
Before they are completely gone
I feel an angel tear
I wipe the tear off my cheek
And say hello to you
You accept my greeting
and my love too
Now a mortal
With a beating heart
For now I get a second chance
To have a human start
For love can only be found
In a certain place called home
And this planet is now
The home I can call my own

Leanne Cahill Poem
She looks up at the sky,
the time is drawing near.
Everywhere you look,
the face is full of fear.
The people left are fleeing,
the hope they had has fled.
The time is comming closer,
soon all left will be dead.
The tidle wave is comming now,
it begins to flood the street.
But once it passes over,
the city is nowhere near beat.
The houses still stand,
as sturdy and strong.
Everything is perfect,
and where it should belong.
One child stands,
her eyes are wide.
No destruction is left behind
from the tide.
The child's powers are strong,
as I now see.
Now I should tell you,
that child happens to be me.

Leanne Cahill Poem
I'll always be there
Until the end
To care for you
And help you mend
If you need to cry
Then you can cry on me
If you're feeling scared
Then you can cling to me
I will never find another guy
Who I love more than you
For there is not another person
Who is as great as you
I will never cheat
Or have an affair
I will always be loyal
And this is what I swear
For I will always be yours
No matter what we go through

Leanne Cahill Poem
What's it like to be heartless?
Is it like drowning in the deepest ocean?
Or maybe it is just more like
The draining of all emotion.
Being devoid of courage and enthusiasm...
marked by lack of heart and feeling.
Is that the truest definition?
Lacking of feelings, pity, warmth, and healing?
Would that make you nothing but a doll?
A play thing used by all?
I hope one day you tell me
Before you are nothing but debris
Don't let your heart fail
Because one day you may prevail
So hold on tight,
Do not let the darkness take complete control yet
Because I'll be waiting upon the sight
Of your unique and familiar silhouette
