Alter-Ego

The little girl who begs for mercy is away,
her angry alter-ego took her place.
The little girl might possibly come back someday,
But now her eyes gleam red on her fair face.

All the wicked things she said and did,
It was not her but that evil thing.
Maybe the little girl just hid,
Afraid of all the alter-ego may bring.

She is evil, can't you understand?
The sadness, the anger and hatred she gives,
Is it possible to withstand?
But maybe inside that evil thing, the little girl who begs for mercy lives.

The War

The roam the Earth,
Killing one by other.
They are demons,
They show no Love and Mercy.

And Faith herself could never save us.
For Hatered, Violence and Anger have become too strong.
The war that God is fighting,

The war that I ignore,
Is ended upon the final battle,
The final cold war,

It will soon be over.

And it will kill the world.

Afraid To Change To World

I never thought I’d be so afraid
Of change,
and what I’d to to my life,

And others’.

I feel like a revolutionary,
Standing behind the curtains
Afraid to read the speech leading others into battle.

I know they won’t be ready
to hear the cries of pain,
to see the blood of Death itself,
to feel the suffering of hell,
for all the wrong that they have done.

Like the sinner man,
Afraid to pray
Afraid to be forgiven
Afraid to make another mistake
To dirty his newly cleaned soul

Afraid to change the world
Afraid to make it dark and full of pain
Afraid to change it for the worse.

Bestie

There aren't many people who understand me.
When you helped me realize that I have a alife worth living for,
When we fight over the dumbest of things,
When you make up random words to describe things,
I'll miss all that if anything ever happens.

Because no matter what,
You'll always be my bestie.

First Time For Everything

I guess I could say,
You inspired me.
Or was it the song?
I cried while listening to it,
But I can say that I was trully happy.
For the first time in my life,
My world is turned the right way up.
I smiled, and laughed,
More than I ever have.
I remember thinking,
"This isn't me. I'm the melodramatic poet..."
But I cant help it.
There's a first time for Everything.

There Terrance, I wrote a happy poem. Happy?

Unwelcomed

I remember how you helped me
and him happen.

I remember how you'd tag along
with us, blocking the awkwardness.

I remember how when him and I were over,
you'd flirt with him
right in front of me,
as if nothing ever happened.

And then one day he was over it,
before I was.
It's so strange,
so unlike anyone before him.

Now,
you have him for yourself.

Maybe, that's what you wanted all along.
But that means you can't say that I'm the bad friend.

Because you knew how much he meant to me,
yet, you still took him as your own.

Last Choice

Here I am.
Standing on the very edge of the cliff...
I look at you, your eyes like gems.
I jump off. You say “only if”

But I don’t hear the rest...
My only explanation is I’m too sick.
Too sick of you pretending, thinking you’re the best.
It felt all way too quick...

I look down, suddenly scared.
I will fall and no one will catch me.
I am so unprepared.
Young forever... is that all I will ever be?

Three feet away from the hard, solid ground.
All the memories flash right there.
I’m starting to regret my last choice, turn the clock the other way around.
Where will I go now? Please tell me where...

Oblivious

I can't stand it anymore.
You guessing
Me giving you more hints,
You guessing more,
Wrong wrong wrong.
Not even close.
Its like saying
That birds fly upside down.
Well,
They don't.
The world is upside down.
I should've just told you when I had the chance.
Now I have to tell you in person.
Can't you see that the right answer is right in front of your nose?!
Ugh.
Why are you so damn oblivious?

I Don'T See It

This poem is not about what is written,
But what is not written. . .or said

They say there is beauty all around me,
all colorful,
all bold
And that I just have to look.
They say,
The world isn't all grey.
"Just look behind you and you'll see it!"
"There is color right before you eyes!"
But I don't see it.
To me the grace and beauty of the world is unwritten.
I just don't see it now.

Fearless

New life comes
with new love.
I’m not sure
if I’m just desperate,
or It’s really true,
but I just noticed you today,
And believed in happy endings once more.
Listened to you sing.
Watched you dance onstage,
almost make a fool of yourself.
I laughed,
waved and cheered you on
more than anyone else.
don’t know why
I like you
But I love this feeling.
