I have written this poem for you mom
It is so long overdue
I've written poems for others but never one for you
You will be remembered each passing day
In my heart and soul,for you I will pray
I've often sat and thought about the years that slipped away
But did I ever tell you mom all that I should say?
Did I say thank you for always being there?
Did I ever show appreciation for all your love and care?
Do you know I wonder and often I recall,the things that you did for me when I was young
and small.
You could always make me laugh and bring a smile to my face,with your quick sense of humor
and your words full of grace.
We had that special bond when I sat on your knee.
no one else matters mom when it was just you and me.
You are my mom and words cannot describe.
The feelings that I have for you,those feelings deep inside.
And mom I know you love me.
Unconditional is your love
To have,to hold,to know you
I think the Lord above.
I'm glad you've been there when I needed you so much.
Strength,Tenderness,and Kindness
You have that special mom touch.
Mom you are my hero
And I'm your biggest fan.
I will forever love you
You are the kindest woman

When I asked you did you love me,you said you didn't know.
I asked you again and you said it was all for show.
When I said that I loved you,you didn't really care
I guess that the love we had wasn't really there.
When you said that you'll always be there for me,it wasn't really true.
I guess I felt stupid enough to even fall for you.
when I told you that I hated you, you said you hated me too.
But when you broke my heart all I did was think of you.
Then you call two or three times a day expecting me to answer.
Then I finally do and you tell me you have cancer.
Your telling me that you love me and always will.
But I tell you if I love you back are you going to be foreal.
Then I had a dream that you silently passed away, and then I wake up with a voicemail the
following next day.
Now I'm at your funeral filled with tears.
I felt like I've known you for many years.
I wish I just had that one more day to tell you everything all that I should say.
Now I'm moving on and your still in my heart.
Now is a new day and I'm starting on a fresh start.

You tell me to look and I don't and you ask why?
I think for a moment and decide what to say to you.
You laugh,I smile,you talk I don't.
Your here,I'm there were together.
As I lay my head back you hold me close to you, wishing you wouldn't let go.
Breathing,heart racing at the same pace maybe even faster.
Me thinking that this is true and we can live happily ever after.

I'm tired!
Tired of feeling empty
being worthless
Putting on a fake smile as if nothing is wrong.
I'm stressed and depressed
But refuses to show my weakness
hate being alone,but it brings me comfort
Fighting these everyday battles
But doesn't show signs of scars or bruising
I'm wounded on the inside
I'm completely falling apart,and my mind is running in fear
Why??
My thoughts and answers were always left to be unknown
