Child Sexual Abuse

Children;
Helpless, and unexpecting.
Innocent then innocence taken away.
Loving and trusting children being made to
Do things against their will and having
Sexual things done to them.
Evil revealing itself in different ways and
X-pecting children not to say anything. an
Unkind and uncaring human being torturting
A defenseless, innocent child.
Long lasting effects of the
Abuse is what the survivor will endure all
Because some people are just plain sick and
Uncaring. full of threat
Sexual predators stay away; we wish. there's no
Excuse for hurting and sexual abusing a child.

A Child's Plea

Somewhere in the dark or in the light of day
When no one was around he'd hurt her so
She couldn't speak, so no one heard this child's plea
Too afraid to speak, only in her mind could she cry and beg
He used her as he wished, no one heard her plea
"Please make him stop" in her mind she would scream
So many times, silenced by fear, no one heard this child's plea
A man she loved, though he was not her real "daddy"
She thought she was bad, and no one heard her plea
Even now as an adult, a survivor
she carries this pain and those memories still
Still hurting from back then,
When no one heard this child's plea

Soaring
Like a bird
Fly to freedom
Do not want to be caught
I’m free

Surviving

S is for the sexual abuse I endured
U is for the unknown answer of why
R is the reality of it, but longing for the readiness to go on
V is for the very innocence that was stolen long ago
I is for the innocent child I was
V is for the vulnerable child I was, but am not now
I is for the "I", I have become
N is for not letting go of hope and courage to heal
G is for God and the greater things he has in store for me.

A sexual abuse survivor
Sexually abused by a monster
When I was just an innocent child
Where ever it suited his fancy
Only he will ever really know why

Sexually Abused

Little child frightened and alone, yet not really alone
Feeling confused and oh so scared, did she do wrong
Sexually abused by someone she trusted and loved
Not sure why this keeps happening, afraid to cry out loud
Feeling so much shame and guilt, must be her fault
Why else is she being sexually abused
To afraid to tell, he frightens her so
All she asked was for his love and fatherly affection
But all she gets is being sexually abused
The one who should love and care for her
The one who is suppose to protect her
Instead of being safe, she is being sexually abused
She feels so dirty, feels so insecure
Wonders if any one knows, does anyone sees
Askes god why she is being sexually abused
Wants to run, to scream, to tell but she cannot
Prays to God that this, that he will stop
Her heart breaks as once again she is sexually abused

Its Just One of Those Days

Feelings of hopelessness
So tired, the world seems cold
Just standing here motionless
This burden’s a heavy load

It’s just one of those days

I feel like I am all alone
No one seems to care
No one calls on the phone
My life seems unfair

It’s just one of those days

Always being the strong one must I
Pretending nothing is ever wrong
Putting on a “mask” with a sigh
This is my life this never ending song

It’s just one of those days

So much hurt and so much pain
Been lied to and abused
But why, what’s to gain
Were they that amused?

It’s just one of those days

Just want all the bad to stop
Want this day to finally end
My head feels like soon it will pop
Away with everything I want to send

It’s just one of those days

Tired of wearing a mask, putting up a front
Can’t ever be weak, must always be strong
Harsh words – they were quite blunt
Tomorrow is near and I must go on

But right now it’s just one of those days

This Man

HURTING GIRLS IS WHAT HE DOES
A MASTER OF DECEPTION
ONE PERSON THEN ANOTHER
COLD AND HEARTLESS JERK

What Is a Friend

What is a friend you may ask?
A friend is a person who cares about you
A friend is not one who will lie to and use you
A friend is there for the good times and for the rough times too
A friend doesn’t tell you lies and makes you believe them
A friend doesn’t lead you on just to get what they want
A friend listens to what you have to say and share
A friend is not one to manipulate to suit their own needs
A friend is one you can count on and who can count on you
So what is a friend, you may ask?
I really thought I knew and believe the above to be true
I believed all the lies and was manipulated
This person I thought to be my friend wasn’t really in the end
I shared my heart, feelings and thoughts with this person
This person told me they would never lie to me and yet that was a lie
I was used just to get what was wanted then thrown away like yesterday’s trash
A friendship was all I wanted and thought I had
A true friend is what I thought I had and that it would last
Boy was I ever wrong and such a fool
From the very start to the very end, we were really never friends
So what is a friend you may ask?
I am not the right person to be asking – I got it all wrong myself
Believed lies and was played for a fool
So if you ever find out what is a friend, and then please tell me
Tell me because I really want to know what a friend is

The Storm

CLEAR BLUE SKIES SOON GIVE WAY TO DARK GRAY CLOUDS
CALM WATERS TURNS INTO AN ANGRY SEA OF WATER
THE FUTURE UNKNOWN AS THE STORM APPROACHES
IT ISN’T AN ORDINARY STORM FOR IT’S NOT OF NATURE
IT IS OF THE FRIENDSHIP WHICH WAS ABRUPTLY ENDED
THE MEMORIES OF THE FUN TIMES SHARED
TIMES THAT WILL BE FOREVER NO MORE
DARK CLOUDS AND THOUGHTS THAT FILL MY HEAD
AS I REALIZE WHAT YOU TOLD ME WAS ALL LIES
AN ANGRY SEA OF WATER IN THE FORM OF TEARS
TEARS THAT ARE BEING SHED BECAUSE YOU USED ME
YOU TOLD ME LIES, THAT REALLY HURTS
I BELIEVED THOSE LIES AND I’M AS ANGRY AS A STORM
YOU BROKE MY HEART AND MY SPIRIT SO UNCARINGLY
I WANT TO RUN, I WANT TO HIDE, I WANT TO SCREAM
BUT I SIT HERE MOTIONLESSLY CRYING AS THE STORM BUILDS
BUILDING INSIDE OF ME IS A STORM OF EMOTIONS
I AM HURT AND SO CONFUSED AND I AM SUFFOCATING
I WANT ANSWERS YET GET NONE REALLY
WELL NOT WHAT I WANT TO HEAR ANYWAYS
LIKE THE WAVES IN STORM, MY TEARS SWELL AND CRASH
CRASHING DOWN ONTO MY CHEEKS LIKE A BURNING WAVE OF LAVA
LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, YOU HAVE LET ME DOWN AND USED ME
I GAVE YOU MY HEART AND YOU THREW IT OUT LIKE YESTERDAY’S GARBAGE
I SHOULDN’T BE SURPRISED BUT I AM, DUE TO MY OWN STUPIDITY
I THOUGHT YOU WERE DIFFERENT BUT YOU AREN’T
LIKE A STORM MY HURT SOON WILL PASS
BUT NOT WITHOUT THE TELL TALE SIGNS OF THE AFTERMATH
IF I COULD ERASE MY MEMORY OF YOU AND THE TIMES WE SHARED
IF ONLY I COULD TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME OF MY LIFE
MAYBE, JUST MAYBE IT WOULDN’T BE SO PAINFUL
WHILE I HAVE TO LIVE WITH EVERYTHING I NOW KNOW
WHILE HURTING AS I RELIVE THOSE DAYS OF NOT SO LONG AGO
YOU ARE A STRANGER TO ME AND YET IN SO MANY WAYS NOT
YOU, YES YOU WILL MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED
YOU WILL GO ON AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO LIE TO OVER AND OVER AGAIN
SET THEM UP WITH FALSE HOPE JUST AS YOU HAVE DONE WITH ME
JUST AS THERE IS A CALM IN THE MIDST OF A STORM
A CALM THAT LETS WAY TO DAMAGING WINDS
DAMAGING WINDS AND STORM CONDITIONS THAT CROSSES ITS PATH
THIS IS YOU, A STORM THAT I CROSSED PATH WITH
A STORM THAT JUST MOVES ON TO LEAVE AN AFTERMATH OF DESTRUCTION
YOU ARE A STORM OF MASSIVE DESTRUCTION WHO FEARS NO CONSEQUENCE
ALL BEFORE YOU ARE THERE FOR YOU TO DESTROY…DESTROYING ALL THAT IS GOOD
YOU ARE THE STORM THAT CLEAR BLUE SKIES GIVE WAY TO
