Its Just One of Those Days
Feelings of hopelessness
So tired, the world seems cold
Just standing here motionless
This burden’s a heavy load
It’s just one of those days
I feel like I am all alone
No one seems to care
No one calls on the phone
My life seems unfair
It’s just one of those days
Always being the strong one must I
Pretending nothing is ever wrong
Putting on a “mask” with a sigh
This is my life this never ending song
It’s just one of those days
So much hurt and so much pain
Been lied to and abused
But why, what’s to gain
Were they that amused?
It’s just one of those days
Just want all the bad to stop
Want this day to finally end
My head feels like soon it will pop
Away with everything I want to send
It’s just one of those days
Tired of wearing a mask, putting up a front
Can’t ever be weak, must always be strong
Harsh words – they were quite blunt
Tomorrow is near and I must go on
But right now it’s just one of those days
