Erika Goodpasture Poem
I sit here and think of what I want to say to you.
I listen to each beat that beats for you.
Every breath that I breath for you.
Every move I make for you.
Every word I say to you
Every kiss I give to you
You are my shining star. That little sparkling light that hides in the mix of the others.
You are the one that guides me home and shows me the only way
You are what becomes of me. You are what I want to be.
I learn for you I learn from you.
We are one as we are two and we are one again
You put this burden of joy to me and now I have to finish
You placed this smile on me that forever is implanted
You stuck me with this pain of love and loss and hope and hate
Its mushy and silly and wet and tiring
It’s a never ending battle that one person alone can not win
It has a will along with a way
It has a bitter sweet price of pay
Giving everything away to have so much in hand
You are my heart, you are me and we have became one
You have my every living breath
You have each living word
Each beat and each sigh
My kisses are all for you
If at all are last day comes
It is not the last for me
For I could never love another to amount to love for you
For you have done what no other could do
You saved my soul from dieing

Every time I look at you, every time I cry.
Every time I see inside you each time I hear you sigh
It hurts me so deep to know your pain
It hurts me to bad to play this game
I see into you and I love the motion that you create
I feel you next to me and I am taken to another place
Your eyes are like shimmering stars in the day
I cry to death , to realize that I know the hidden way
I will be your sitting one
Playing this game this circle of pain
See you hurt See me cry
This isn’t a dream and this isn’t a story
One feels as if they died
Take me into your world and embrace my every being
I am here for you to take me out, take me and make me you
I will wait for you are time will come
I am your sitting one
In this place and time with you I am eternally here for you
I will close my eyes and let you be,
I am here but you are free
Anything that I can give, I just want you to live
You have your life so I’ll have mine
We’ll have each other over time
I’m staying here, its what I need
But I can not watch you bleed
I need to be your sitting one
Do what you need and I’ll do for you
My love is so thick My heart is so small
I am your living creature now
I will bathe in your every desire
This is all because of you
I will die to do anything for you
For you to smile and laugh and live
What part do you want because I can give
You are my everything and my everything is yours
So here I am to help you out, I will do any thing for you
I sit in a room that turns black and cold, but you are near
I look at wall that’s blank and stone but you are near
I’m holding on for you, be as I have no fear
If I need you , you will come,
I try to tell them you are my one
I am forever holding you
Please le me be your sitting one.
