Haley Rose Fischer

Haley Rose, my beautiful girl,
Do you know you are my world?
The stars above can never compare
To my love for you through the years.

I think about you every single day
And each night I bow my head and pray
That God will keep you in His caring hands
To give you love and comfort while I can’t.

My sweet Haley, you’re growing so fast.
It’s hard to believe twelve years have passed.
I still see your smile when I close my eyes.
If just for a while you’re back in my sight.

I’ve missed you since I had to let you go
And I just really wanted you to know
We’ve loved you since the day you were born
And each and every day we love you more.

Larry and Linda Creighton

Lightning dancing while thunder rolls
Autumn leaves of red, orange, and gold
Rainbows brightening the sky
Rivers flowing through the country side
Young and old working as one
Animals caring for their young
New beginnings and forgiveness
Downward slopes and peaks of mountains
Laughter which sets you free
Icicles hanging from a tree
Night-time brightened by fireflies
Dancing flames of a warm fire
Asteroids and comets flying through space
Causing a smile to appear on a face
Robins singing a sweet lullaby
Each of the sun’s rays of light
Ice cream on a hot summer’s day
Galaxies seen from far away
Hibiscus flowers in full bloom
The ocean tides pulled by the moon
Of all God’s gifts, old and new,
None are as wondrous or beautiful as you!

Fortuitous Rendezvous

Fortuitous rendezvous of two soul mates
Longing to connect at higher levels
Forging an alliance of friendship and love
Hoping their distance will abate
Encouraging each other to reveal
Inner feelings, desires, and thoughts

Come closer to me, though miles separate
Climb through the windows of my mind
Thinking as one, to the same tune
Enter my heart without fear or dismay
Leave all of your troubles behind
Your heart and mind I shall soothe

My Knight, my love, my angel true
Let me wrap my arms around you now
Protecting you from the world’s harm
Giving all of my love and respect to you
Ensuring laughter and happiness abound
In the coldest moments, keeping you warm

Gaze

Let me gaze into your eyes, my darling,
To glance into your beauteous heart
Losing myself forever in a sea
Of happiness, pleasure and comfort-

Indulge me, my love, for a moment
Heart to heart, locked in an embrace
Two lovers approaching an unknown
Running into a titillating place

Hold me; soothe me with your warmth
Whisper that you love me in my ear
Let your long-awaited desires take form
The moment you’ve longed for is near

Lean your head down towards mine
While holding back my soft brown hair
Kiss me with your sweet lips of wine
With impulsive, romantic flair

Fantasy

As the whispering cry of the wind on a cold night, you haunt me-
Magically appearing in my thoughts and dreams, consuming me-
Until all my reasoning leaves and I lose my sight, changing my focus-
All of my attention falls to you.
Your strength pulls me towards you,
Capturing me in a cage of sensuality.
I feed upon scraps of what once existed,
Enticed by what could have happened.
Like the pitter-patter of rain on a window sill, I hear you-
From memories we’ve shared, you fill my mind, I can see you-
My fantasies march with full-force against my will, driving my hunger-
All of my heart and body wants you.
Loving not only who you are,
But also who I am when you are near,
Passionate, fervent, breathless, ablaze,
Hopelessly looking for just one more gaze.
As a young child, standing before her first sunrise, you inspire me-
I feel your warmth, streaming from you, uninterrupted, you engulf me-
Setting my soul on fire, capturing my every desire, enticing me-
You control my every move.
Your personality and style engage me,
An angel with a heart of gold,
A soul mate, a perfect union,
Epitome of a match made in Heaven.
I long to dance, our bodies intimately joined, to a sweet tune-
Soaring from cloud to cloud, embracing you-
Gliding, hand-in-hand across time, leaving all behind-
The world disappears; it’s just me and you.

Storm

Pitter-patter on my window
Rhythm flying in my face-
Dance is going, in slow motion,
Leaving me feeling amazed.

Orchestra above me plays
Allowing notes to sink below-
Thunder rumbles, lightning crackles,
Caught up in their musical.

The sweeping winds sing their tune
To the beat of falling raindrops-
Birds join in, and soon defend,
Their titles for prettiest songs.

Howling dogs and screeching cats add soul
To the jazzy compilation just formed-
Rustling leaves, like tambourines,
Add even more spirit to the storm.

Crystal Ball

Yesterday, a whisper from the past-
A fragment of a time gone by,
Staring into a crystal ball, to see beyond my future walls-
Dazzling from the bright sun in my eyes.

Memories, the pictures in my mind-
Fade until they all disappear,
I still feel you in my arms, how your smile kept me warm-
All I have leftover are my tears.

Whatever happened to that vision in my crystal ball,
Shining so brightly with the sun’s sweet light?
Starting to wonder of the vision from that crystal ball-
Maybe the rays were just making me blind.

Suddenly, without any warning-
The future becomes today.
A vision that was once clear, seems to all but disappear-
Now everything in my life has changed.

Emptiness is filling up my heart-
I spend my hours missing you.
I wish you were here today, how I long for your embrace,
To warm up this heart so cold and blue.

Whatever happened to that vision in my crystal ball,
Shining so brightly with the sun’s sweet light?
Starting to wonder of the vision from that crystal ball-
Maybe the rays were just making me blind.

Parents

Birds sing sweetly as the sun arises -
Beautiful colors of red, orange and gold
Splash upon the horizon before me,
Inviting me to rejoice as the day unfolds

The wind blows gently through the trees.
The green grass sparkles with morning dew.
Surrounded by the beauty God reveals,
My thoughts quickly turn to you.

Your beauty, within the fabric of your soul,
A beauty not created by anything manmade
Permeates your personality as a whole,
Living through you forever, never to fade

Sweet parents of mine – you’re beautiful to me
In every way imaginable to my limited mind
For God blessed me by allowing me to see
Your kind spirits, gentleness, and love divine.

Dance With Me

Dance with me, among stars at night
Free as the birds, we soar through the sky
Gliding down paths of pure white snow
Innocently discovering the unknown
Let our laughter and joy overflow
Leave all of our worries behind
Wipe away our tears and fright

Whisper your thoughts into my ear
Sweet, gentle, words spoken with care
Open my heart, for you have the key
Captivate my mind until I’m free
Permanently remain in my dreams
My lips will then forever share
Poetic phrases, with romantic flair

Night Visit

Last night you visited me in my dreams
An unexpected, but wonderful surprise
You approached the bed I was laying on
Ever so quietly you came to me

With an outreached hand you touched my cheek
Your warm hands covered my face
You leaned your body towards me
Ever so quietly you kissed me

We fell upon the covers where we stayed
Wrapped within each other’s arms
We held each other through the night
Ever so quietly did we lay

When morning came, you had to leave
Disappearing when I awoke
Although I’ll not see you ‘til tonight
Ever so quietly you’ll stay with me
