The Rainbow and the Cross

God’s cross keeps watch over the valley
And one morning I saw
A rainbow over God’s cross

The Cross gleamed with God’s light
The rainbow showed that all was alright.
A mist of rain approached from behind
The rain it seemed would not be kind.

As I watched the rain approach
Like soldiers marching to war
I looked on with awe and
I Thanked God

For the rainbow over the cross.

Please Don'T Let Me Go...........

We loved together but always in secret
Our Love is strong but always a secret
Now you are in your life, and I am in mine
but yet our hearts still be together.

I want you to touch me and hold me
but that cannot happen again. Your life
and mine will not allow it. Although we
wish with all our hearts we could.

Now that you have gone I have an
empty space where my heart once was.
My arms yearn for yours, my eyes seek your
gaze, my dreams are yours and yours are mine.

Oh where do we go from here?
How can our love be so strong when
we are so far apart, to not even be able to call you
to hear your voice telling me that you love me....

I feel so sad and lost and alone. I know you must feel
the same. What can we do? Where can we go? Do we have to say goodbye
forever? I cannot do that. I will
hold on until the end of time if I must, I hope you will too.

But for the here and now, I must let you go and hope, I must hope that you
will not let me go. You have my heart, and soul and dreams. Please don't
 let me go?

I dreamed that you and I are together in a house by the beach where we can
walk on the sands together hand in hand as the sun sets on us and our
dreams. Please, don't let go of me...........?

Forbidden Love

A heart torn in two
Can not be alone
Thoughts and dreams
Of what could be
But never will.

I have these wishes and dreams
Feelings of lonliness
Until I feel your arms around me
Then the dreams come to life.

What might be with you beside me
but never will be with him.
I dream of a love complete and strong
And live a love that is so wrong.

How can my heart love so much
Yet still be so alone?
