Donna Arnold Poem
Without You
Without you, I am so lost
An empty vessel, which has no cause
Sunless days, endless nights
Only darkness, no more light
Without you, I am all alone
There is no place, which I belong
People all around, nobody cares
The one person I need, no longer there
Without you, I am incomplete
My empty heart barely beats
I have to keep going. I don’t have a choice
Without you, I am an empty void

Donna Arnold Poem
“What you mean to me”
I walked along life’s path for so long, feeling empty, incomplete
Thinking there was no one, who could see all of me
All hope was gone for true happiness, given up on faith
Until one day, I glanced upon your face
The darkness began to fade away, light finally shone through
My life changed in a moment, the instant I met you
Bitterness left, all the walls came down
My battered heart, hidden for so long, had now been found
You could see my pain, which I tried to hide
You knew me, all the tears I had cried
I believe God sent you to me, my soul mate
The day we met, it was destiny, fate
I am so thankful to be a part of your life, a lucky woman I am
What most people never find in a lifetime, I have found
Someone who truly loves me, unconditionally
You make me feel whole, now I feel complete
I love you more than you will ever know
You are the one I want, never want to let you go
What I am trying to say, what I want you to see
I really love, you and me

Donna Arnold Poem
“Where Can I Find You?”
I feel you when the wind blows through my hair
Close my eyes, you are there
I see you when the moon is full of light
Guiding my steps through the night
I hear you when a raging storm is near
Saying, “don’t be afraid, I am here”
I feel you when I walk through a grassy field
Softly holding me up, giving me a lift
I see you when ants are marching in a row
Always focused on where they must go
I hear you when my car cranks, after turning the key
Saying, “you can always, depend on me”
“Where can I find you?” I ask myself
The answer is simple, my senses tell
I feel you when you are not here, I see you all around
I hear everything you say, even when you make no sound
Although we are not physically together, seem so far apart
You are always with me, always in my heart

Donna Arnold Poem
This Moment
Verse 1
As I look into your eyes, I surrender
My heart, soul and mind, to you
Then you touch my hand, I get limber
Lay me down in your arms, if you choose
You kiss my lips, its pure ecstasy
Here in this moment, nowhere else I want to be
Chorus
Lost in this moment, a sweet memory,
My full attention, on what you’re doing to me
If I could be anywhere, any place in the globe
I would be in this moment, holding you so close
Verse 2
As you softly kiss my neck, I get weaker
Trembling, as chills run down my spine
Then wind blows through my hair, I shiver
I feel your breath upon my skin, feels so divine
You touch me like this, it’s so heavenly
Here in this moment, nowhere else I want to be
Chorus
Lost in this moment, a pleasant memory,
My full attention, on what you’re doing to me
If I could be anywhere, any place in the globe
I would be in this moment, holding you so close
Bridge
This moment, this exclusive memory, its the only place my mind wants to be,
Oh whoa
Chorus
Lost in this moment, a warm memory,
My full attention, on what you’re doing to me
If I could be anywhere, any place in the globe
I would be in this moment, holding you so close

Donna Arnold Poem
“I Am So in Love with Who You Are”
I am so in love with who you are
Your generous nature, your natural charm
The way you care, so authentically
Always apprehensive to my worries, my needs
The way you show compassion to how I feel
Your concern reflects that your love is real
The way you give your all, at everything you do
I always know, I can count on you
I am so in love with who you are
You light up my life, with your warm heart
The way you smile, when I enter a room
Lets me know you are saying, “I’m so into you”
The way you kiss me, the passion I feel
What you do to me is so unreal
The way you touch me, soft and tenderly
Tells me you want me, you need me
I am so in love with who you are
I hold you close and dear to my heart
The world is a better place, since I have found you
A person who is genuine, sincere, and true

Donna Arnold Poem
The Voice in the Night
Endless desperation, she cries through the night
Has she lost this battle, without a fight?
Thunder rattles the windows, a deafening roar
Who is knocking upon her door?
She peeps through the hole, cautiously
No one is there, that she can see
Voices in her head will not go away
“I have come for you, your soul to take!”
Hiding in the closet, shaking like a leaf
A voice states firmly, “This is your destiny!”
“Please, not now, just go away!”
She begs for mercy, “Give me one more day?”
“One more day,” Ha, an atrocious laugh
“You are not worthy, you can’t have that.”
Crying and pleading, begging in fear
“GOD, can you help me? I need you here”
In that instant, she awakes from her dream
Filled with fear, with a sigh of relief
A promise she makes to God
“I will change my life.”
“I hope I never again hear, the voice in the night.”
