Star

you're like a star brightening my life 
shooting across my darkened sky 
fixing my broken mind,you're so beautiful you bring tears to my eyes 
you've opened my heart, helped me see 
that there is so much more to life then i thought they could ever be 
you make me smile like I've never smiled before 
my whole world comes to life 
when i see your face when i hear your voice 
i just wanna hold you near 
i wanna hold you for the rest of my years 
i wanna wake up in the morning 
and the first thing i wanna see is you lieing next to me 
you are the star that has brightened my life

as i walk down the lonely road of life
i see a bright shinning light
i see a smile that defines
i see beauty in its eyes 
i see a heart so pure 
i see a soul so adored 

as i walk down the lonely road of life

its inviting embrace 
as it takes me to a whole new world
