Poets Logged In

Poets logged in
From all across the land
Just to share their writing skills
To every woman and every man

From the United States is Matt
And from India Auro too
From Bangladesh is Ashek
All showing what they can do

Thomas from The United States
From The United Kingdom comes Janise
And also from Russia there's Sydney
Just to show how well they manage

Dr. Ram from the USA
Benedito from Brazil
Shows these Poets are focused
And of course very real

Oh, how can I forget Bobb
Whose from The United States
And from Bulgaria, Bozhidar
These Poets show they're great

Finally from The United States
There is Andrew and Monty Too
From Nigeria there is Kelechi
And Nepal Giri showing what too do

So there we have them my friends
From the beginning to the end
On January the Eight
These are The Poets Logged In.

What Easter Means To Me

What Easter means to me
Is down in my heart
The story all about Jesus
It's told from the start

How He rose that great morning
And rolled away the stone
He did it for us all
And did it all alone

Showing all His love
When He got up that great day
As He promised that He would
He'd have it no other way

So there we have it my friends
Because we all are set free
And everyone surely knows
What Easter means to me.

Her Dimples Made Me Smile

Her dimples made me smile
When I looked at her face
Because of the way she was
Having style and so much grace

The way she made me feel
Made my heart skip a beat
And just to look at her
Really knocked me off my feet

Oh yes I fell in love
With those dimples the other day
And they are so special
There's just no other way

First I'm thankful to God
Cause I know I'm His child
For blessing me with Joyce
Her dimples made me smile.

Something About the Name Jesus

Something about the name Jesus
That reigns within my soul
Makes me know without a doubt
This name is purer than gold

Oh how I love that name
That God gave too us
And we can forever know
On this name we can trust

This name is a healer
and filled with so much love
It shows the blessings of God
All the way from Heaven above

Thats why I surely know
Gods love is for all of us
And yes there is no doubt
There's something about the name Jesus.

I'M a Special Gift From God

I'm a special gift from God
He made me long ago
And put in me His spirit
Telling me what I need to know

The eyes that He gave me
Makes me able to see
All His wonderful creation
And the way He wanted it to be

From the ears that I have
I am able to hear
The sound from the things
He made far and near

Oh yes my precious hands
Within them I can touch
And feel those wonderful things
Too me that mean so much

Now the nose He bless me with
I can surely smell
Many, many fragrances
With an aroma that's so well

Finally there's my mouth
With a taste that touches my heart
And sense this Black History Day
I'm a special gift from God.

If I Only Had a Chance

If I only had a chance
To show you how I feel
You would surely know
That my feelings are real

It would only take a minute
To move upon your heart
And look into your eyes
Knowing I'll always do my part

Just to whisper in your ear
while holding you close to me
saying we're made for each other
like we are suppose to be

Just for my dear friend
I want to put you in a trance
And really blow your mind
If I only had a chance.

When the Gate Swings Open

When the gate swings open
We'll be standing just outside
Waiting on the Master
To call us to come inside

His word we have hidden
Deep within our heart
knowing it has kept us
Through this life from the start

Standing on the road
For us that's paved with gold
That we've heard of many times
And of it we've been told

Listening carefully for our names
And to every word that's spoken
This is how we'll be
When the gate swings open.

My Darling I Love You

My darling i love you
You surely must know
That deep down inside me
A heartache does grow

While you love another
And want too be true
I pray you want be hurt
As I've been by you

You lied when you told me
That your love was true
You used me and hurt me
But i still love you

I would rather remember you
With tears and in pain
Than not to have know your love
My love poem has ended, thou only in vain.

What Are Mothers' Made Of

What are mothers' made of
I asked the Lord above
Mostly Goodness and Kindness
And of course God's special Love

They're also made of Patience
With a ounce or two of Faith
They have so much Gentleness
And their Self-Control is great

God threw in Long-suffering
He filled them with His Peace
When God added in Joy
His special creation was complete

So what we have my friends
Just as gentle as a dove
God gave The Fruit of the Spirit
This is what mothers' are made of.

A Second Chance From God

A second chance from God
Was given to me one day
As He listened to my heart
While on my knees I prayed

Confessing all the sins
I did throughout my life
Bringing hurt and pain to others
And I knew this was not right

Trying to get Gods attention
To finally listen to me
I told all my secrets
As He was able to see

While talking to The Master
I thanked Him from my heart
My friends there's nothing like
A second chance from God.
