Walking Under the Moonlight

Walking hand in hand
By the distant shore
Sharing life together
Laughter once more

Talking about the good times
Forgetting about the old
Knowing in our hearts
To each we hold

Blessings we share
From day to day
Success is for sure
And, it's on the way

One chapter may be closed
One window may be opened
But, tomorrow will come
With the blesseth
Assurance of the Lord

Whoever You Might Be

Day and Night I dream
Hoping to see what is out there for me
Yet I wonder if it was ever meant to be
That anyone would be able to see me

That is just another story
But hey, but whom am I to worry
They way ahead is all too blurry
Nonetheless, I will begin this journey

You will be everything I need
Without you I will not breathe
Truth be told I think about you all the time
Even though you're not even mine

Everyday my need for you gets stronger
The days of waiting keep getting longer
Maybe one day we will find one another
Who knows? We may already know each other!

This world might be huge
But you will still be my refuge
Please find me
Whoever you might be?

In the Evening of the Summer

By Betty L. Hobbs

In the evening of the summer
When the sky is so clear
When the stars are so bright
They look so near

I’ll be waiting for the morning
I’ll be singing a new song
For in the evening of the summer
Is where my heart belongs

In the evening of the summer
When the clouds drift by so fast
I’ll be happy to remember
The sweet love that lasts

In the evening of the summer
Things seem quiet around
And the beauty of the season
Makes happiness to surround

Sweet Lord I Pray

That you will answer
My prayers today
That I will seek
You thru
In all my life
In all I do

I think of you each day
And wish I could see
Your face
The joy you gave to me
Is lost away from me

Oh help oh lord I pray
And lead him to the way
Forever there will be
An ever lasting eternity

Forgive him where he has failed
And change his life
And wish him well
And never let him
Crazy to tell

Doesn't he know
I wish him well
That he will open his eyes
And then sat down and cry

For laughter is no fien
When you hurt someone
In denying not there it stays
Still you find a better way

Forgive him of his sins
And let him have a
New life to begin
I am old and not grey
But in this life
I will stay
To help my son
Find his way

The law of the Lord is perfect
Converting the soul
The testimony of the Lord is sure
Making wise the simple
The statutes of the Lord is pure
Enlightening the eyes
The fear of the Lord is clean
Enduring for ever

On That First Christmas

On that first Christmas morn
When the Christ child was born
We celebrate his birth
And worship and praise
And thank god for sending his son to save

On that first Christmas
The beautiful star shined
In the early morn
The day Christ was born
What a beautiful morn
What a wonderful day
The day Christ came

On that first Christmas morn
When the Christ child was born
Oh Holy Night
A vision of delight
A lonely star did shine
To make that Holy Night bright

Some Wondrous Morning

The mist in the morning
Cradling the trees
Now beautiful in the morning
Are the birds
That sing

Some wondrous morning
When Spring arrives
To hide the Winter
And place it
Far behind

When all we
Do is pray
Morning will come
As the early
Morning Breeze
Captures the
Flowers

As it's dancing
Sway beauty
Like Grace
With God's beauty
His love
He will place

Paige's Song

Laughter all day long
Paige's song
Singing while she swings
Lets pour out the rain
Could you use another angel Lord
To help pour out the rain

Greeting everyone with a smile
Knowing her
Has made our lives worthwhile
Especially at Christmas time

She says she has a cross to carry
And she is not alone
Each of us has one to carry
For Christ carried His up to Mt. Calvary

We had some help along the way
But He had to bare the
Cross for you and me
For us to be saved

And little Paige
And others like her
And this is our song, help pour out the rain
And sing this song again

Today God Will Make It Right

Today
a blessing
from above
God's created beauty
like the beauty I love

Today
let's call on his name
so beautiful to feel
his grace
so real

Today
we'll find
deep in our hearts
Jesus is there

finding it in his words
so real
so true
In our lives
as God's will
we pursue

Peace Bestow

Just make this day, LORD
And let it be
A little love
And a closer walk with thee

Just make us PEACE
And let it flow
Into our hearts
And let us know

Just send us GRACE
And let it dwell
Into our souls
So others can tell

Just give us LOVE
And Bestow
On us and others

Early One Morn

Early one morning
As the dew fell
I fell in love
And I didn't tell

The sound of his voice
Was the song in the rain
The touch of his hand
The mention of his name

I love him so
Just the same
The reasons why
I can name

He's always there
To care
And always there
To share

Early one morning
I met him there
And I'll remember
Him always, always there
