The Five Senses of Christmas

The Five Senses Of Christmas
The smell of Christmas candles.

The sight of shoppers picking over gifts for their loved ones.

The taste of warm Christmas cookies that melt in your mouth.

The feel of the cold snow on your hands.

The sound of the fire crackling in the fire place.

These are the five senses of Christmas.

First Love

I can't believe that it's come to this
I wanted to give you a chance
But you blew it
They tried to tell me
That it would never work out
But I trusted you
And now what am I to do
Although you hurt me worse than you think
My feelings for you continue to stay the same
You were my first love
Thanks for what you have given me
I now know what love is like
I have learned to forgive and forget
This is what I have begun to do
I have slowly began to forget about you

Beautiful

You can tell yourself your not pretty as many times as you want
You can listen to those who put you down
Of course, you think your not beautiful
Almost every girl does
But to me, your just as beautiful as anyone else
When you look in the mirror and don't see what you like
Put on a smile , for it is the most beautiful of all
You can say weight matters
Though you know it does not
It's the inside that counts, no matter what
So the next time they tell you that your not pretty
You just put on a smile and tell them they're right
Your not pretty at all
Your beautiful

Foolish

You told me I was beautiful
You told me I was perfect
You told me just the thought of me brought butterflies to your stomach
You told me to trust you because you would always be there
But in the end you fooled me and left me standing here
Now that I'm alone; I can cleary see
That forgetting you won't be quite that easy
Now all I can do is imagine what we could have been
And try to forget all the things that were said
I'm the kind of person that keeps things bottled up inside
But with you I can't help but not let my feelings hide
My friends tell me that it's over and that you've moved on
But I'll never forget just how foolish I was
