Filled With Allusion

while lost souls swim in the sea of hell
the earth quaked as the  angels fell 
the sky weeps with the blood of Jesus 
flooding this earth in an effort to teach us
to obey this notion without a face
its manifestation on earth proved an even bigger disgrace

insidious demons run the church 
their putrid impulses leave our children hurt 
these fools: the believers
pray and pray 
now there sins here on earth will just go away

however heresy lies in the eyes of the beholder 
their vision grows clouded as the vengeance grows colder
its frightening what men will do in the name of god
they'll burn a saint at the stake 
if it will feed their visage
