I Love To Cry

When you dont look at me,
With other things to do when you are busy.
You seldom turn around and smile
You are with me, but just for a while.

I think of what will make me sad
Of things which ever make me mad.
And isolate myself away from you,
Wandering around what next to do.

And a long wait, a peek from the corner of my eye;
Feeling the pain grow, as to forget I try.
And then when it is already too late,
I notice your concerned stride past the gate.

You cuddle me, like a baby you hold,
Trying to reassure your love pre-told.
To get you near me, look at me, I could die;
And that is one reason I love to cry...

Drawn To You

I am drawn to you and I cannot shake off the love I feel for you.
Sleepless nights turn to an emotional rollercoaster when my mind keeps wandering to you.
When I am alone and need someone, thinking of you becomes my only companion.
I cry at times realizing we were, but will never be again because we cannot.

I am drawn to you and I promise I have tried but cannot forget you.
You gave me a purpose, you made me feel special, but why did you?
I had to take it easily and not get involved in expectations, but you cared and it encouraged me.
My life has now no purpose but to linger around your nonexistence, how do I heal?

I am drawn to you but you will never know.
I love you like your life clinging to you, but I will never show.
My soul has been enslaved in love, through pain and despair I will survive.
But I am drawn to you but have to only, through your existence, I thrive.

Wish I Were a Boy

When I would walk down a street,
and with head high, love being a deadbeat.
when I would look at a sensible chick,
and then moments of her with me would flick.
I would just make my way to her;
and lead her to my drive like her personal chauffeur.

When the boys would try to mess with me,
and to what I do or believe they disagree.
I would not hesitate to pass my strong fist,
And let them know that another bully cannot co-exist.

When I would feel low and while all alone,
And deep in my tiny heart I would feel thrown.
I would just go to the nearby store,
Buy me some cigarettes or walk to a h're.

When my girlfriend says, "I cant continue with you";
fearlessly claim that the love was just hitherto.
I would not hesitate to turn my back to her
And diminish the pain in my heart, just like a blur.

I would walk again, as easy as a toy...
And start with the next, thats the advantage of being a boy...

As I Lay At the Streets...

I closed my eyes and slipped into the world.
Where the valley was green and the sun rays gold.
As I walked the grass my feet felt cold;
My heart felt a warmth unseen, untold.

I walked to the stream and wondered why,
The real world was uglier, as i watched the birds fly.
Why a murderer would kill, why a lover betray?
Why a soldier joined battles, but his family would stay?

Why a man could discriminate black and white?
Why the world could never overcome the selfish-tide?
Why could I find pleasure in only my dream place?
Why contentment touched, only the ocean's surface?

I turned exhausted and began to gasp for air,
I could feel the darkness come, which was never there.
I knew from within that this world would be gone;
When I am back awake, my clothes will still be torn...

My Friend Is My Love...

I couldn’t read, I couldn’t write…
That my world would no more ever be bright.
With the morning sun I would rise,
The day ahead full with surprise.
He took me here, he took me there,
We planned the day for everywhere.
We sat together all alone,
Speaking of things, which were atone.

Our minds would argue, but hearts unite,
We kept opposing, although right.
He bought me chocolates I never shared,
I would joke on him, but he never cared.
He brought me flowers from the bushes around,
A red one hidden as yellows surround.
I always pretended I would never see
But in my heart I would just let it be.

Back in my room when it was 7 again,
I would sit quiet, and feel the pain.
As I realized that another day would end,
He would stay a day longer I would pretend.
With sleepless nights my eyes would swell,
Moistened with bitter tears and love’s spell.
The morning would come and go again,
But the realization would still remain.

And one sudden day it was the day,
He kept staring at me and couldn’t say.
I made him promise he would never let know,
When it was time for him to leave and go.
But the look in his eyes I knew there was no next day,
I couldn’t make him stop, not in any way.
I ran away, far away from where he was,
Picturing him looking at me, as that was the last.

She Is My Lady

And there she sits, the lady who takes your breath away;
Her absence from my life would just mean a flay.
She sits with a smile but her eyes twinkle,
She would take whatever given, but a ray of expectation would still sprinkle.

Not an admirer of glamor and she would never clamor,
All she needs to know and learn, that where ever you go to her you would return.
If not a diamond ring, if not a love song you sing;
She needs to read it in your eyes, that the relation was never built on lies.

You want to kiss her and she kisses you back which ain't right,
Don't push it further, just sleep off the night.
Next morning when you wake up to the sun,
She'll deliver her love to you, that kiss will engulf you in stun.

You slide just next to her, wondering what she would think,
Her eyes inviting blue, and when she smiles pink.
Pull out the red rose from behind & see the contentment in her eyes.
And that moment you know, she is your angle love in disguise.

Come Back My Angel.....

I see in you the angel that you make of me...
I can keep close to you, yet never see.
You entered into my life like a morning sun,
You promised your life to me in the long run...
And now you'll leave me back all alone;
Like you were the sun which never shone?
Spare me my life, my heart, that's with you;
Give me back my angel, cannot live with an angel new...

And He Walked To His Love

A little everything is all that matters,
When I see you wave at your mates.
And you seem pleased with the slightest flatters,
They deliver a flying kiss, Oh! you dates.

I wear fancy clothes and apply shiny lip gloss.
For you to see me once, for real and not when in trance.
I wear the latest hair colors, stealing my mom's dollars,
I polish my nails clean, with all the brands from the magazine.

At nights when I sit to study I keep wondering...
How the next day I could look more appealing.
But days passed by and all I get from you is...
A couple of funny stares in the last 250 days.

No more of faking around, and now my normal self abound.
I no more look at you, or notice the things you do.
Three months pass by, with my grades I am already pre-occupied.

And then one day a strange voice calls my name,
Sounds familiar, but I wonder where I heard the same.
I turn around with the pencil in my mouth,
My head spins and gets filled with doubt.

The sweetest "Hi!" you deliver me;
And I realize, that all this time you had been a seeker of simplicity...

I Felt You Feel...

And we stood there, together unknown,
Standing hand in hand, but minds all lone.
From the corner of my eyes I look at you,
Straight into the eyes, as you always do.

Lost in my thoughts I forget to blink;
And i just keep observing as you drink.
A drop of water run down your lip,
My fingers upset, as desires take leap.

I reach for the drop to wipe it down,
And the touch of your lip, my senses aground.
A spark of emotions engulfs us,
The instant you shiver, we hear the ringing glass.

Too late to react, too late to speak;
The audience welcomes with claps and leaps.
The moment was lost with the run of the flow,
And i never could tell, and you never could know...
