Angelique Bonetsky Poem
Been there for years,
Every laugh, every tear
Supportive and true,
This I have found in you.
For all you have done,
Repayment, you have asked none.
I hope to be here,
Every laugh, every tear
Need help, call on me
Dear friend, you will see
Supportive and true I am to you too.

Angelique Bonetsky Poem
Nowhere can you find
A beauty more defined
The wide open outdoors
Under foot, under toe
Raw beauty does grow
Everywhere you go, beauty bestowed.

Angelique Bonetsky Poem
Show your love today;
Tomorrow may be your last.
One can't change the past.
It is best not to look back.
Life is too short for regrets.

Angelique Bonetsky Poem
I look in the mirror, and what do I see?
An unknown stranger is staring back at me.
I fought hard to be what you want.
Not realizing it’s all a big front.
I become what you want,
The next thing you know,
you are unhappy, and want me to show,
how much I love you, by changing again.
I am beginning to realize, this fight I can’t win.
So I am asking you now, why can’t you see?
I am who I am, the person I was meant to be.
Why can’t you love me, for being me?

Angelique Bonetsky Poem
This feeling has taken control of me;
no longer contented as I used to be.
Tears well in the corners of my eyes;
I struggle to hold them back, but begin to cry.
The calamities of our life are getting the best of me.
As I wonder, is this how it ends, is this destiny?
Right now, departing this world would seem such a blessing.
An end to the hopelessness and constant stressing.
"What is meant to be, will be." They all say.
All that is needed to chase this sadness away;
a smile from you or to hear you say, "Everything will be O.K."

Angelique Bonetsky Poem
Love,
my heart
is breaking.
I lay crying,
wanting to die, I need to feel your love.

Angelique Bonetsky Poem
Tongue like a razor;
lashing out.
Words cut like knives;
gouging deep wounds.
Wounds left open;
bleeding, hurting.
Forgotten;
are feelings of happiness.
Engulfed in this darkness,
for longer than just a while.
Longing for someone to pull me up.
Show me once again,
what it's like to be happy;
to be loved by a friend.
