An Ode To Mother Earth!!!

Life on earth began with a mass of dust,
Embedding itself in the earth’s most fragile crust;
Life of ever-growing trees all began with a leaf or a little grass,
Followed by the appearance of our age old brass;
Then the earth gave way to the slimiest things called ‘animals’,
And from there came the most wonderful species called mammals…
One, two and three, it began,
Now it seems like more than hundred years of life span;
Oh! My graceful mother earth!
When everything began you were brown,
When it seemed to last a little longer, you turned yellow,
Years went by and you chose to be green,
With a little blue all over seen;
Every soul was behind your beauty,
All humans chose the path of creativity;
From Shakespeare to Wordsworth to Carroll to Lee,
Everyone wrote to you, what they could see;
Now you are, what I can count,
With your streets and traffics and roads and lanes,
With cars and autos and trucks and cranes;
With dust and leaves and stones and wood,
All that I can write and surely I could;
I know I am just a part of your crust,
But it seems like everything is going back to the dust;
From blue to green to yellow and brown,
When I think, it just makes me frown;
But probably you are just getting old,
Realizing the truth, oh it makes me feel cold;
So just tell me you’ll remain what you are at least now,
Only to let me live and to show the world how to love;
I am sure to tell,if they really knew, what love was,
You wouldn’t have been what you are alas!!

Unexpected She Seemed!!!

The sun rose and the birds chirped in an unusual way, But no one knew what they did say; A busy day it would have been, Disquieting, lo... The future scene; Unexpected seemed the roaring waves, Rushing in and out the sandy paves; Death appeared a second near, What else would we humans fear?! Oh how loudly their innocence wept, Whilst all along the earth she crept. The emphatic mother…she opened her mouth wide, To call her children by her wavy side… She forced her way into the land, Sweeping hundreds of lives off the sand; Cries involved the scary dawn, Death assured a life time gone; She made me think, she made me fret, Life was now but a defensive threat. A mother she was to all around, Her children unaware of the loss abound; Though Water here never saved their lives, The sovereign goddess of “love” survives; Divinity here, she dint let die, But greeted her beloveds…with all, but a dreadful cry!!!

I Looked Beyond

I looked beyond and saw that pleasant smile,
So powerful, yet I looked away in a while;
Those low sunk eyes and its lashes long and free,
They looked at me; they looked so deep to see;
There was so much more, so much more inside,
That made me shy; oh it made me run and hide;
To a place so close, so close to you it be,
That purest heart, the purest it was to me;
And I looked beyond and looked beyond to find,
That your smile had found its place to my heart and mind!

I looked beyond and saw those skillful hands,
So loving, yet I moved along the sands;
Of times ahead, of times so near and past,
Just to let it go, so far away too fast;
And then I knew, I knew it belonged to you,
And waited much, to know it was but true;
That you were here; you were here in all of me,
To make me mine and make me fine and free;
And I looked beyond and looked beyond to feel,
That the hands, they touched my heart so dear to heal!

I looked beyond and saw you coming near,
So near it was, that my soul sank deep in fear;
Those vibrant words and its manly sound so loud,
They swept their way to a space inside the cloud;
To clear its way, to bring my soul above,
So tall and strong, and fill its walls with love;
Those moments new, those moments clear and high,
They made me feel, they made me rise and fly;
And I looked beyond so much beyond to know,
That so close you came; I would never let you go!

T'Was Meant To Be

In the midst of a busy schedule, in the midst of another usual morning,
I met the man; I met the man who I had long asked god for;
Yet, busy I was, so busy I was with a reality that could never be mine,
And a device I knew could give me space, a space where I’d stand confine.

A glance or two, I did not know, I did not know that be,
But I could see, Oh I could see, that lives before, so many before, it was mine be truly, he;
I told myself that it couldn't be, it couldn't be coz it nay be true to me…
He asked me why; he asked me why, a year later, it was we;
Love it was, not at first sight, not at first sight but the rest of our life had we,
At every glance, saw our love cherish and grow to become that tree,
The tree of love, the tree of joy, we saw it nurture free,
Along the sides, along its tides, it grew bigger and better and glee.

Yes, that’s my life, my life with you,
It was a dream, a dream come true;
The eyes that saw, the touch that felt,
The million years that crept,
To a reality, a reality that wasn't you or me,
It surely was, it always was, that we really meant to be.

Beyond Words!!!

Every second of my life I pray,
That she and I were together stay;
Every person that I saw or near me stood,
Makes no better than she really would;
I don’t know if this has just begun,
But nobody answers “Oh is she the one?!”

I frowned, when grief gave no way,
I smiled, when happiness sternly stood away;
I dreamt, when no dreams could come across,
And I loved as if I never fell in love before;
I don’t know if this has just begun,
But nobody answers “Oh is she the one?!”

Never had this feeling before,
Until one day I wished for nothing more;
Never believed in true love songs,
Until one day she said that her heart for me, longs;
I don’t know if this has just begun,
But nobody answers “Oh is she the one?!”

A billion words to describe it,
But that’s all I say, and here I quit;
Love has crept and I have it felt,
Yes ‘twas was once for her, on my knees I knelt;
Oh,
I don’t know if this has just begun,
But it goes unanswered…“She is just the one!!!”
