I Say This With Optimism

For now I am in pieces.
I say that optimistically,
Forever hoping that the pieces will come together and form a beautiful puzzle.
I've awaited this moment,
But waiting is all I seem to do.

An inept and crumpled document is what I am.
An aptly written and folded one, I am not.
The creases are the amount of times that I have encountered a moment of distress.
The rips and tears are the times that life has been unfair.
Inside the crumpled document contains a set of words that reveal a rather special story,
The story of my life.

A Troubled Mind

A list of troubles consumes my mind.
I can not fight, this list with just my fist.
Even the strength of my own two hands are inferior.
To be superior i have to show how i have matured,
Utilize the depths of my will, but as they say, " things may be further than what they seem."
The same concept can be applied to my will.
Motivation for me, is in the fog.

The Ambitions of a Mad Man

I have a mission,
I possess the most powerful motive.
My aim is to rid the world of agony,
and nothing less.
what can I say my mind is blessed?
caressed by the most innovative, creative, and inventive thoughts.
I am the antonym of habitual, and beyond ambitious.
I am something more than determined.
I was endowed with passionate, and caring attitude towards others.
Procured by the most unique goal.
I would love to witness the world pain free.
This is the mission burdened with obstacles.

The Shackles of a Prisoner

I am a prisoner, and a victim of myself.
As a condemnation of a forever lonely soul becomes more realistic,
the shackles bound to my ankles tighten, and assume a more dense form.
these are the shackles of my own imprisonment.
they drag me beneath a bottomless ocean,
where the most horrid creatures reside.
with no escape,
I am forever falling.

Senses

I can not see her,
Nor can I hear her.
I can not feel her,
Nor can I smell her.
“roman, are you listening to me?”- she snaps at him with a wondering gaze
All I see is a pile of mush before me,
I would love for it to hush.

No Limits

no boundaries, no limits.
i am free to let my mind wonder,
i ponder many thoughts that flush my mind.
i find myself, and realize that in this state of mind
i am ridden of negative thoughts
and discovered a constant state of creativity.

I Shine On

i shine brighter then sun,
my essence is a lighter in the night.
i fight for what i believe,
because i feel relieved of this stress.
i compress my feelings into my core.
tighter then a bumper to bumper traffic.
i stump her with my words,
leave her speechless with charm,
i promise i mean no harm.
in the nature of my mind,
i find i am the kind one.
i bind, and intertwine our hearts together.
i feel this has the potential to last forever.
I will shine on, whether you will be
by my side or not.

No Fears

Societies Doubts,
and perceptions of me
Are the fuel to my rocket ship.
Blasting off into space,
I know what I want,
And I know my place.
It is a constant chase
that will never end.
My aspirations malleable
they will always mend.
Always improving, I never stop,
sometimes trip, then drop with a heavy flop.
my body hits the ground, and goes plop.
"Oh the pain, Oh the agony"
The constant obstacles of life do not bother.
Deep within my heart burns a mighty fire,
Inspiring a rage of passion to achieve my goal.
I stare life dead in the eyes,
And with no fear say,
"Give me all that you've got."

Puzzles

I know that you think
I am on the brink of success,
and dont neccessarily need you.
But what you think, and what i think are total opposites.
You are the missing link in my life right now.
I am not saying I want to be with you forever.
I am saying for right now you are that peice of the puzzle that I need.
My theory is that life is not one big puzzle, but multiple puzzles.
Each puzzle represents a different chapter in our life.
This chapter, you're the peice i need.

So Lost

feeling lost
what does this cost?
not knowing what to do
or where to go
all i find is pain
it rains upon me
tired of this,
i try and i try
but never succeed
what can i do to make this better?
i dont even know
