A Lovely Outcome

she shovels, and she shovels a way through.
I find it is what she is best at.
I watch her, and I cannot help but stare in awe.
I believe it is fair for me to say that she is talented.
The question I ask myself is, what is the price of this talent?
I leave myself skeptical, and run this question through my head.
As I ponder this question, she shovels away. Doing what she does best.
With her abilities, thoughts, and memories she creates a thoughtful gift for me.
she shoveled a bottomless pit found within my heart, a thoughtful gift indeed.
