Donnita Jones Poem
As I sit and watch images of grief,sorrow and comfort on the T.V. screen all I can think
of is how this seen that took place, is just a horrible disgrace that our nation had to
face.
To walk in the Lord's amazing grace, lives lost paid the cost for all of our worlds
faults.
I ask how much more must we endure before we stand together hand in hand.
I am just one voice that knows that He has given us a second chance to take a stance and
live under His holy commands.
We need to love with God's love that only He can send. Not just in tragedy but at all
times, so all will see. We are all part of His holy tree.
The tree of life,not iniquity,malice,envy and strife,God has given us a second chance
to get it right.
He is the same today,tomorrow and until the test of time and in Him we can find peace
for our body,soul and mind for He is the Lord of host divine, our sins in this earth
is what He wants to bind!
He sits high and looks low, watching where we choose to go. So we as a nation must take
time to see what it is He would have us to be, and not just in tragedy,but everyday
this is His holy humble way.
In Him is how we can wash away the decay of yesterday.
May the God of heaven and earth bless and keep the families and friends of those whom lost
a love one. May He give you comfort on this day and days to come, remember that is why
He sent His only begotten son.
