Life

Life is an everyday struggle, a struggle that never ends where people die and children cry
and you learn to just pretend. Pretend that you are happy. Pretend that everything is ok.
Pretend that this crap is normal, when you know its not suppose to be this way. They said
God only gives you what you can handle, well I wish he dint trust me so much. Cause eve
been strong for way too long and at this point rim about to bust. Over 10 years i was held
captive in that belly of the beast but that has no comparison to the pain eve endured on
those streets. My precious family dying off 1 by 1, so tragic, so painful i just want to run. I
cant run to my mom God took her to heaven too, since she has been gone i just dolt know
what to do. A piece of me died with her, rim no longer whole...i loved my mom with all my
heart and soul. She wasn't the perfect mother but shes all i knew, mommy if you can hear
me, I love you.Tell Aunt Lisa i love her and im sorry she left this world in so much pain since
shes been gone no one is the same. She didn't deserve to be taken out in that horrific way
but dont worry they are all gonna pay. Life doesn't get any easier, its an everyday struggle,
it never ends...Where people die and children cry and you learn to just pretend.

The Little Things

The little things that count

They say it?s the little things that count in life, well I decided to write this as I listen
to a man tell a story of choosing a little thing over his wife.
Crack cocaine, a little thing alright, a tiny little rock that you continue to chase and it
controls you night after night.
Blinded by the addiction and the short lived high, you become someone else, you?ll
do anything eventually, cheat, steal, lie.
Same sh$t day after day can have men sucking dick and they aint even gay.
Anything for this little thing, degradation, no self-love, getting used and abused.
Losing everything you once had, even your mind, your family, morals and values.
At the end of the day, you?re asking yourself why, you?re homeless, alone, straight
broken and all you can do is cry; you don?t want to feel so you continue to get high.
Insanity at its highest degree, so blinded by the chase, the lifestyle, this addiction,
you can?t see.
Can?t see reality, can?t hear the truth, and can?t feel sh$t. You wake up with
strangers constantly putting your life at risk.
If you?re lucky, you?ll survive this and recover. You?ll get your life back one day at a
time and no longer will you suffer.

Fear

F.E.A.R.

Face everything and recover, or forget everything and run.
Chase the storms or follow the sun.
Live your whole life with fear in your heart, or face all your fears and always have a
fresh start.
Wear all your burdens on your face or be a woman full of grace.
Live everyday like it's your last, or live every moment reliving your past.
Count your blessings everyday or wallow in self-pity and let it stand in your way.
Don't just sit around and wait for "it" to happen, make it happen. It's your own
damn ship; learn to be your own captain.

Ruff Ryders

Life is a rough ride. We do laugh at times and rejoice
but we damn sure mourn and cry.
We were born to live and only pass through
some paths on our journey.
We live to learn and learn to live.
I'm costantly learning.
Life has not been a smooth ride for me,
it's been extremely rough.
But it's okay because I find the strength to hold on
and remain determined enough.
I can't control nothing or nobody but me.
I'm somewhat lost right now
but I pray for perseverance and I know one day
I will be happy.
Life looks you dead in your eyes.
It can teach you some lessons if you'r willing to learn
and it can leave you very wise.
Now hold on tight, strap yourself in and prepare
to let the ride begin.

Destiny For Eternity

Destiny is determined by choice. We create our own destiny. We can live a life of hell on earth or we can choose to create a utopia and rejoice. Life isnt always fair. Some of us werent raised with much morality, unity or with love in the air. Some of us had to go through things that the average person could never concieve but by the grace of God, he created us and built us to weather the storms as long as we hold onto faith, just have to believe. Some like to use life as an excuse to be bitter and angry, a reason to allow responsibilities to go neglected, but Ive been through many of storms and theres no excuses, you just have to face reality and accept it. We were all dealt a hand and we have to just learn a winning strategy to play our hand to the best of our ability. Why act like the world owes you something? Create a better destiny. Destiny is determined by the choices we make in life. You learn to just become wiser and stronger with every bit of pain and strife. Create your destiny. Choose the road for your journey. Decide where your destiny will lead you for all eternity.

Just a Lift

Confusion, distorted views and twisted thoughts.
Dreams, goals, wisdom and strength
yet there's still that self-doubt in what I've been taught.
Wanting so much and wanting it bad. Wanting to be successful.
Wanting to b the mother my daughters never had.
I want to climb all the way to the top f the biggest, tallest, strongest tree
but I can't do it alone. I can't reach that first branch, I just need some help.
I need someone to lift me.
With that lift, I will get a grip. I will hold on, embracing it and climb.
Eventually I will make it all the way to the top in due time.

Through and Through

Through and through
Through your eyes I see your soul. through my eyes theres a story to be told.
Throught this darkness i still see the light, throughout this journey i continue to
fight. Through the pain, I found pleasure. through your love, i found a treasure.
through the bitterness, i remain sweet. Through the falls I continue to land on my
feet. Through the sadness in my heart, I found the strength not to fall apart.
Through my mi9stakes i continue to learn. Through my faith i let it burn. Throughj
your smile, I see your fears. Through my eyes youlll see the tears. Through my life,
Ive learned so much. Through all my experiences, my soul has been touched.
