every time i cry i can see it in your eye
all the hate you gave to me will never set me free
you say im weak but i dont believe i hit my peak
at what im am to be
im not scared of you and you know its true
i am not afraid of what you got to say
i might even try to play the game
you will never hurt me
you will only set me free
from the pain you gave me

nobody se what i go through day by day not even you
i pray and pray that i could tell someone who will listen
i am hoping you see it true
i try to do the best i can
i strive to be the best woman i can
i seem to fail at a lot of things ive tried
it hurts so bad ive mostly cried
the pain seems to be the only thing i gain
anger is no stranger we ponder
i sometimes ask why bother
please help me to be free
i know you see what i want to be

what do i do
to be with you
you said forever
now its what ever
i cant live this way
my heart wants to break
the longer i wait
the more it fades
my heart feels like its in a race
there is danger every wy i face
it feels like a big disgrace
you said you loved me
now you want to be above me
i want you but you cant be true
bu why i ask when you wear that mask
do i wnat to be with you
i need a clue
to see if your true
so i ask

i dont know why this alwyas happens to me
i get so scared i want to flee
i cant believe the way i went astray from all the pain inside me
i could not gain so i had to be the way i was when you left me
iwanted to be with you until i got old
thats when i thought my heart was sold
instead when i lost you it went cold
now that your gone
i have to be strong
for the love you gave me
shall set me free

i never really knew what angels do
until i met you
your the lights in my eyes
the love i cant deny
the one beside me when i cry
i know youll be there when i die
your in my heart forever
through all the stormy weather
it can only get better
im glad i found you
you have been oh so true

i dont know why this bothers me
i always say what i see to be
i hate to get people mad at me
even though they should be glad to see
im trying to show the truth
to everyone and not only you
i swear i dont knw what to do
about what is only true
