Shea Hunt Poem
Her heart has just said that
It has found the one
That it wants to settle with.
So in anticipation of the day
She will have to hang about
In a life that she would
To a certain extent do without.
For the existence that she previously knew
And dipped her toes into
Would only make the birth
Of courtship she now desires
End up in a swell of sand.
She knows that it would take years
For her soul companion
To comprehend that her
Life in now fixed Just for him
And in the closing stages he may not
Agree with the amount of
Selflessness for such an individual,
Thus may even end up walking away
From such a surprising scene.
In her heart she also knows
That the life that she
Lives on this life altering hours
Will never make him even
Imagine of staying, for he has such morals
That just makes her seem to be a stray.
So to that new life that she is going
To set on herself today
She shall at slightest have
The smallest amount of chances
to be in his hands until the end of instant.
This now gives her everlasting hope
To live until that last day.

Shea Hunt Poem
Why are you the way you are
On minute you seem like
The Best thing that this
World can ever do to me,
But then you can also be
The worst thing that I have
Ever and will ever know
Why do I even feel like this?
I said to myself that I will
Never again feel it but now
Now that I know you I can't keep to that.
I hate myself for even knowing you
At times, but just another smile
From you change everything
You stealing my heart right
Out of my clutched hand.
How can this even be possible?
I try so hard to say away,
But when I do all I think
Of is you and your smile.
You make plans to see me,
But do you think that you will
Ever see them through
You say that I am special,
But you never act like I am
Yes your words make me
Think that it’s so true but
Your actions towards me
Makes me feel that you
Never want it to be.
I feel like I am your doll
That when you feel lonely at night
You divide to take me down for
A game or two, but when the sun
Rises you put me back up there
And act as if I never existed
In your life not even as a friend
I am over playing this game
That you are into
I think that you should look at
How you are acting and make
Up your mind on what you
Want, coz I am over playing
This gamiest either me
Or not once you have made
Up your mind let me know
So I don't have to sit here
I am over feeling empty
Just want to feel complete
Again, but I just
Guess at this point in time
It’s not meant to be
Why just like someone
When you can love them
Or in fact even
Die for them

Shea Hunt Poem
I’m lost, you lost, we both lost.
We like two trains on different tracks
Going the opposite directions
On an open field full of nothingness.
Our minds are now that of
A blank canvas on which the
Creativity of the world can
Be splattered on and left to dry.
We have not the ability to make
Things happen in our lives but
The ability of putting the seed
That we hope doth sow in the
Near but yet so distant future.

Shea Hunt Poem
Little Boy – so small and yet so deadly
Exploding into a beautiful bell of sunlight
Clouds boiling up, mushrooming into a
Cloak of destruction.
Dissolving flesh, leaving only the shadows
Of history imprinted on the walls.
They turned back to look but
All they did was taste
The lead of atomic fission
Radiation, generated by
Gamma ray and ray neutrons while in flight
Causing genetic malformation
Fat Man - a hollow pumpkin-like shell
Surrounded by explosions
Sides permitted it to be
Armed while in flight
Cloak of destruction
Covered two square miles.
The only thing that could survive
The deadly bombs was
The cockroach.

Shea Hunt Poem
Who can resist this
The individual that now exists
The life that he leads
Makes another’s look
Like that if child’s play
His heart is as big
As the universe itself
Pulsating for the truth
And love of existence
It longs for one that may
Love the same, for it just
Wants to live again
His body is just as strong
As his love for the one
His skin glows with the glory of
The ability to give his only life
To the one in his heart.
So he waits until that
Loving day, thus making
Him not want to stray.
His mind is a field
Open and willing to grow
Letting new life show.
But his respect is only
To the ones that in the end
Will show what his true life is.
The soul is just as pour
As the heart itself
For his life is one of Gods.
A life that longs for joy
Love and happiness
Of others instead of itself.

Shea Hunt Poem
I am alone in this dark place
I ran away out of his face
I had to leave my mom in tears
Because she always fears
I am sad and hurt
I just don’t want it to get worse
I hate him because he raped me
It hurts so much, what has he done to me?
During the day I am hopeless
And sometimes breathless
I always feel guilt
For the trouble that he built
I wanted to go home
But I couldn't find a phone
You idiot, what did you do to me?
You ripped me away from my family.

Shea Hunt Poem
The war had started
The soldiers had been carted
There was a sudden silence
As a shadow of death arrived
Everyone wished that there
Partner would stay alive
From dusk till dawn
People did mourn
About his or her partners death
At the battlefields there was the last breath.
Wishing bombs dropped from the sky
Clouds of dust rise up high
Innocent people run for cover
The fear of death makes them shudder
The endless rattle of bullets at night
While the living pray to see daylight
The swords are as sharp as an icy gust
They will cut you in half if they must.
No doubt they will soon get well
But those soldiers that survive
Will be servile scared
For what they have done
Would surly end them soon
If not now then in the new moon
People try to stay alive
But most of them might die
Some of them will cry because of loss
Most of them will give up and loose hope in life
If you have to go back in time
You will here a lot
Of screaming and soughing
Crying and wining because of
Pain, loss, anger and sadness
Most of them died because of war
And some of them died because of
The outcome of the mind confusion
Beating on them day by day.

Shea Hunt Poem
How can one do this every day
To put your heart out there
For one to say that there
Life won’t work if you had to stay
Thus killing ones being
For the destruction of not
Being wanted will end in death
For that act of giving of your all
One may just say you were mental
For they never knew, know just how
Hard it is to show every feeling
That only wants to grow
But when they turn around
Saying NO all it could do
Is break you in every way
You wouldn’t even want to stay
Now that they have rejected you
They would never found
The true love that you
Had to show them day by day
So all you could do in the end
Is show your love and hope
For the best and just leave the rest
Then walk away knowing
That you have said all
That you had to say
All you can do is hope
Hope for the best and
Leave it all up to them
For you can only say
I LOVE YOU in so many ways.
