Graham Eakin Poem
Gulf Oil Spill
Another disaster ,
Caused by man.
Oil spills far…
We do what we can.
Once again,
We’ve damaged our Earth
By spilling a gift
Its given us, of worth.
The fish will die
The oil companies will lie
If things don’t change
The world will die.

Graham Eakin Poem
Life is a creative
Explosion
A playful
Rebellion
A dance with
No reason
A non-sensical Mystery
Extending through and beyond logic.
Nothing holds it at both sides
Yet here it is. (There it is)

Graham Eakin Poem
Here I sit at home at night
Drinking beer while nothing seems right.
I listen to the same French song
This has been going on much too long.
With poetry I feel that I begin nearly
To see some things a little more clearly
My mind and the page are a powerful fusion
Or perhaps they are no more than a common illusion
I feel my path is no longer pure
But as to why I'm not so sure.
So I feel all that I do now is a sin.
But still, I long for my life to begin…

Graham Eakin Poem
Oh Darkness,
How you long to be whole.
Darkness fights the light,
Darkness black as coal.
Only with the light,
Can you be known.
Yet you seek to block knowledge,
The seeds of ignorance you have sewn.
Oh Darkness,
Hiding the truth, you oppose the few
You are the Darkness,
The Darkness is in you.
