I Chose Myself

I hate it,
when you ghost me,
when you leave without a word.
I hate the silence that follows,
the questions left unheard.

I need a conversation,
I need an explanation,
not just an empty goodbye
that I never asked for
and never planned.

I was always there for you,
whenever you needed me.
I gave you my time,
my comfort, my support,
and everything I could be.

So tell me, why did you blame me?
Why did you walk away?
Why did you leave?
when all I ever needed
was for you to stay?

As I told you,
You are the one ,
who going to leave me
And here it is.

And maybe that was my mistake—
I kept the door open,
I kept waiting,
I kept hoping
you would come back
and finally explain.

But you didn't.

And slowly,
I started to understand
that sometimes people leave
not because we weren't enough,
but because they were never meant
to stay.

I never asked for too much from you—
just a little support,
a little availability,
a little comfort too.

But what I love is
that I became stronger.

I found my happiness again,
that I had forgotten
while trying so hard
to hold on to you.

I learned that not everyone
deserves my time.
Not everyone deserves my kindness.
Not everyone deserves
the best parts of me.

And sometimes,
the people we choose
turn everything into a mess but somehow,
that mess becomes a lesson.

A lesson about love.
A lesson about letting go.
A lesson about knowing my worth.
A lesson about choosing myself.

Because when you finally find yourself,
you find a happiness
no one else can take away.

And now,
I love myself.
I love being myself.
I love being happy.

I just understand you now.

You were a chapter
I thought would never end,
but you became the lesson
that taught me how to begin again.

And after everything,
after all the hurt,
all the waiting...

I am still here.
I am stronger.
I am happier.
And I am proud of myself.

Little Moments

Little Moments

People have normalized
holding hands,
little touches,
hugs,
and eye contact.

But for me,
they are never just ordinary.

I want to hold his hand
and walk with him
on long, quiet night walks.

I want to accidentally brush against him
and feel butterflies
flutter somewhere in my stomach.

I want him to hug me
when the world feels cruel,
when everything feels a little too heavy.

I want to get lost in his eyes,
because sometimes
they speak louder
than words ever could.

These little moments
may seem ordinary to others,
but to me,
they are everything.

Because lust could never understand
the comfort hidden
in these little moments.

For me,
they are not just touches,
not just hugs,
not just glances.

They are where
I find my comfort.

They are where
I find my happiness.

About Rain, I Lied

I told everyone that I hate rain.
I told everyone that I hate every drop of rain.

I lied.
I lied that I hate being wet in the rain.

About Rain, I Lied.

I told myself what I like about rain.

I like holding hands and running in the rain,
smiling at each other.

I like dancing to a romantic song
with you in the rain.

I like every drop of rain touching me
when I am with you.

I like it when thunder falls.
I act scared just to get closer to you.

I like this scary yet romantic weather
when I am with you.

About Rain, I Lied.

I love it when our eyes meet and
smiles grow brighter in the rain.

About Rain, I Lied.
I don't love the rain.
I love being with you in the rain.
