Me

Me

Why everyone,
yet not me?

Fight for him,
fight for her,
yet not me.

Is it crazy to want to be chosen?
To be believed in?
To be defended?

It feels like I'm a stranger,
yet you know me.

How sad

The listener that is never listened to.

The chooser that is never chosen

Emotional Scars

Emotional Scars
I see her
I see her not
I see her
I see her not

Moments where she feels me
Moments where she doesn't
An endless game, we play

A game I despise yet
A game which I seem to be a willing participant

Like a game played so intensely every
fall leaves you bruised
But this game leaves no bruises
only emotional scars

In pain

In Pain
I could cry,
But no one wants to see that.
I could scream,
But no one wants to hear that.

Pain only I know,
Pain only I understand.
Hopeless in my pain
