Sharanya Mohan Poem
To pretend that I don't care
'tis the most dreaded thing to do.
Telling all life's healthy and fair
That I don't have anything to lose.
Tears dried the day you went away.
They don't dare trickle anymore.
Thus I don't miss you I say.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
Oceans continue to wave
or do they adhere to duty
obviously everything stopped
on the day I saw your beauty.
Or am I illusioned
of my soft pain, hard longing
on the sin called belonging.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
The red on your lips
gives me chills.
The red in my eyes
taunts you, it haunts,
the feeling it kills.
Yet, this void nothing fills.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
Drowning dread takes over
Frowning you stand there sober,
In my ultimate perish even
Sin is displayed, no peace is given.
All those memories run
Fall's misty mighty sun
But only dark, no fun lies
Shut is the place where my soul flies.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
The Loop Of Suffering
It hurts bad, you can't see
sweet suffering glazed with glee
I hoped and waited I was mad
You can't see, it hurts bad.
But who am I to blame you
I was the one to long, to pursue,
You didn't utter anything to lie
To blame you, but, who am I.
This love of mine I can't ever express
and in my own hopes I become depressed
Even God never gave a sign
I can't express this love of mine.
Animals we are, can't change anything
but we do feel everything
Like a withered stuck black flower
Can't change anything, animals we are.
Kill me with that indifference
How can I be a subject of remembrance
But of ignorance indeed.
With that indifference kill me.
My thoughts and feelings nothing can inhibit
So strong, so mad. To you is the credit.
You are so desirable in all your dealings
Nothing can inhibit my thoughts and feelings.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
Accepted have I
inspected close by
The liquor offered by life
Sea of it's offered in rife.
My role, it's given.
High of sinking has me driven
To accept it ever so slowly
Too despised is water, too holy.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
My darkness met your light
indifferent lazy eyes.
Your iris gave the testament
of my pained brutal sight.
Seconds ticked into hours
and time fleeting work.
The distance is sweet pain
and your lashes does wonders.
Still in debate eyes remain
hunger to win, to conquer.
They are stuck in inevitable void
as we break the hurting refrain
The whole day revolves around this second
replaying the glistening light
but there is nothing to ponder upon
because my eyes remain vacant.
You out of sight.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
His eyes
Lies
Don't suffice
My eyes
Fight
Hide
Our love
Black
Slack
His love
Malice
Poisoned chalice
My love
Naked
Pequod

Sharanya Mohan Poem
## Drenching Sunlight
I am drenched by the sunlight.
I can only go out in night.
For, me, my sins have clenched.
By the sunlight I am drenched.
Moon lies shattered in your eyes.
After my sins no good can suffice.
I lay in the night quietly battered.
In your eyes, Moon lies shattered.
The days are uncomfortable.
Is the good unattainable?
When I wake up, will I be outta this daze?
Uncomfortable are the days.
Being dry remains my comfort.
But in day, I stay alert.
Can't expect anything from soaking light.
Remains my comfort being dry.
When I like raindrops,
All the drenching stops.
Maybe I can be something then.
I like raindrops when.

Sharanya Mohan Poem
These little distances remain between us.
These little distances speak.
These little distances are nothing but dust,
And the distances contain colours deep.
These little distances are always too far,
Never too near they dare.
These little distances hurt so hard,
And 'tis not fair.
These little distances hold us back.
These little distances kill.
These little distances click, they clack,
But you'll find me exactly here still.
