The Lingering Shadow

Still I recall,

Your warm and gentle embrace

Spring blooms no more

Your absence shadows my days

Silence flowers in my heart

A Chance Along the Way

After so many years—
aboard a roaring train,
its whistle breaking the silence of the wild.
You,
wrapped in a yellow sari edged with crimson,
a crimson bindi resting upon your brow.

Across the aisle,
two facing seats—
and between us,
an unfinished lifetime.

Outside,
the fading afternoon drifted
through emerald forests
and along the shoulders of distant hills.
As the train rushed
toward its destination,
every gaze surrendered
to the beauty beyond the window.
Mine,
without a single blink,
remained with you.

Not a word was spoken.
Dark clouds lingered
within your wounded eyes,
while every trace of restlessness
lay folded into silence.

Four quiet eyes
journeyed farther
than the speeding train—
into a world
where words were no longer needed.

At least,
we met again.
Our silence
said everything
our voices never could.
Even a burning silence
can be
a blessing.

When you walked away that final time,
your quiet resolve
was something
I failed to understand.
I mistook
the depth of love
for something
that could simply drift away.

When I awoke,
you were gone.
Only scattered memories remained,
and an ache
too vast for words.

Even now,
I hear its echo.
Your unseen presence
still lingers in the wind.
I find your laughter
within the waves,
your familiar touch
in the deepest corners
of memory.

Now,
you belong to my past,
while memory
has become my present.
Loneliness
has learned
the language of love
within every chamber
of my heart.

Yet I remain grateful
for that journey—
because it gave me
one last silent chance
to see you
before you became
a memory forever.

Translation of Absence

You have dissolved into the infinite-leaving faint traces along a shadowed riverbank, where time lingers, buried in the depths of fading echoes.

A mist-drenched dawn, with its frail crimson glow upon the horizon, whispers your name-a voiceless summons drifting through the wind.

The fallen leaves remember the forgotten chronicles of vanished seasons; within their gentle descent rests the weariness of days left forever unspoken.

From the ashes of a body merged with earth, an unwritten life begins to bloom; silent roots stretch outward, toward an unvoiced resurrection.

Now the stars keep you company. Upon the tips of grass, within the folds of dew, your existence finds its true translation.

You have left an empty space, where words refuse to be born and remain forever folded in quietude.

The thoughts you never uttered settled in the hidden chambers of the soul; unheard, they continue to echo through the unseen inner world.

I lose myself within this transition, crossing horizons into another realm, where memory and the present dissolve into the same shade.

I remember your face-like an indescribable light that lingers, deep within the darkness of my eyes.

At every turning of life, within every fracture, it is you I seek-as though only in losing can one truly find.

Perhaps there, the roads that never return still awaken in the name of coming home.

The Light of Equality

Beyond the visible world,
I go searching
for the first darkness.

In the womb of creation
I have lit
the deathless
wick of consciousness-yet still,
the fierce fire of being refuses to die.

Within the procession of light
I carry
this exhausted mortal form.

Let decay fall away.
Let the unfinished manuscript of failure
be erased.

Come-
let us become one
in the silent manifesto
of our shared existence.

Into the womb of time
let the accumulated grief of centuries
sink without a trace.

Within the stillness of stone
may the primal nucleus of life
begin to pulse again.

Across the stellar canvas
let a colony of light
take root.

May the ancient eyes of humanity,
forever astonished,
learn wonder once again.

Let every black shadow of ill fortune
dissolve beyond the last frontier
of the universe.

Upon the eternal soul of humankind
may boundless mercy
fall like gentle rain.

Through the abandoned courtyard of the heart let an unseen wind arise.

May every grain of falsehood
be carried away
by the stainless waterfall of truth.

Let the arrogance of wealth bow to the dust beneath a rain-soaked, broken roof.

May the rich and the destitute
find shelter together
beneath the indivisible sky.

In the fire of purification
may every stained heart
be made whole.

Within lifeless stone
let the chlorophyll of silent grass
awaken.

At the restless windows of the world
let dawn's first geometric bird
unfold its wings.

May the oldest walls of division
be swept away
by the fierce current of eternity.

For a human being is only human-
not a universe,
not a monument of immutable truths,

but two warm breaths, standing close enough to become one.

The Eternity of the Transcendental

I do not praise the fleeting clay, but the divine, supreme Soul who ignited the cosmic spark to worship within this universe.

The idol is merely an anchor for the wandering mind, the origin of all our grand rituals.

In this mortal form, I honor the eternal grace-whether found on an altar of gold or a simple block of stone.

Yet, in restless thoughts, I only cloud my inner heart;

the blind fail to see the Sculptor hidden within creation's art.

They breed divisions, fueled by the vanity of pride, even as scriptures crown mankind above the earth.

Here lie our vices-the chaos, bias, and greed.

Let the rigid dogmas of bigotry recede in the presence of pure bliss.

Bind humanity in sacred harmony, let the earth find its release.

Within the sanctuary of my soul, I have enthroned the Lord of Peace.

If only a fraction of mercy rains upon this mortal shore!

For whatever form I worship, it is not the form itself that I adore.

Beneath the veil of shapes, I seek the absolute whole,

offering no rituals, save the devotion of my soul.

Let me find deliverance by serving creation as its priest; grant me fortitude, grant me courage, and keep my spirit at peace.

Let no spiritual numbness shackle my living days.

You are the chalice, the bloom, the idol of clay.

Living within the form, yet remaining formless, you flow through this cosmic maze.

Hymn of the Heart

Feelings never perish;
they rest beneath the relentless river of time.

Yet the heart remembers the path to morning, crossing every boundary
with the first light of dawn.

Let darkness descend
into its own unfathomable depths.

I scatter the grey dust
that has gathered within me
to the open wind,
until peace becomes
the language of my breath.

Let the unwanted chapters of yesterday
fade into forgotten ravines.

Upon the white canvas of dawn,
may the soul unveil
its inexhaustible fire.
May I become a quiet flame,
guiding the lost
through the light within.

Let the deserts of the heart
yield fields of golden harvest.
May hope ripen like grain
for every face acquainted with hunger.

Let my fulfilment
never belong to me alone;
let it live in weary hands,
in the eyes of those
whose sweat keeps the earth alive.

Into eyes burdened with nightmares,
I place the horizon of tomorrow.
With luminous seeds of truth,
I sow the soil of a gentler future.

Awakened by the heart's own hymn,
I dedicate myself to the making of new dreams.

Let a new dawn descend upon the earth;
and within every weary breath,
may life begin again.

The Uneven pillar

Upon an uneven pillar stands an unending struggle, coursing through blood, travelling from one generation to the nex

Through the veil of dawn's mist, weary feet follow the jhum trails, while the ceaseless hymn of waterfalls etches the story of survival into the face of time.

The shadow-laden forest remains their unwavering companion.

Across the mountains, evening fires glow.

With burdens bending their shoulders, they make their way home-yet the weight never leaves them.

The flames die away, and the struggle is swallowed by the weary silence of night.

Within the humble home of the uneven pillar, dreams quietly awaken.

Before the first light, in the deepest darkness, the mountains sow the seeds of an unborn tomorrow, as if each dawn could coax tender shoots from the heart of stone.

Night yields at last.

The path is lit once more, the mist parts, and daylight returns.

Though marked by wounds, the footsteps never falter.

In the silent passing of hands from one generation to another, the same burden endures.

After countless seasons, through silence, storms, and time itself, the uneven pillar still stands.

Black Cat Moan

On a mist-veiled morning, when even hope had grown weary, a trembling black cat stopped at our door.

Its frightened eyes held the last spark of trust.

The world called it an omen of misfortune, yet gentle hands opened where others turned away.

Winter found warmth beneath a borrowed blanket. Day after day, a stranger became family.

The black fur so many feared to touch became the warmth that filled our silent evenings.

Then fate arrived.

We stood helpless, watching its frail body struggle for one more breath.

Its fading eyes asked for nothing-not mercy, not tears-

only one more moment beneath the sky that had finally called it home.

Eternity Within the Mortal

Life is no accident-it is a fragile monument adrift upon the relentless river of time.

Drawn toward the quicksand of ignorance, the shadows of greed, and the venomous whirlpool of hatred, it stands on the edge of oblivion.

Yet even in the deepest darkness, one spark of conscience endures; one quiet flame refuses to be extinguished.

When compassion awakens, violence begins to lose its voice. When truth rises, fear surrenders to light.

Beyond the brief horizon of mortality, neither wealth nor power survives-only the love we have shared, the peace we have nurtured, and the humanity we have chosen echo into eternity.
