Poetry in Arms

For my fellow Poets — Guardians of the word,
carrying kindness and the light of learning
across every friendly poetic front.

“Poetry in Arms”

I hear the calling voices
“Let's use our pens like guns!”
and so I stand among them
in Poetry in Arms.

I was young scribe in silence,
and felt what wounds remain,
from those who write in verses
and others write in plain.

In pages like in trenches,
sharp words in fierce desire,
ink loaded like gunpowder,
“Survive the evil fire.”

Our legendary Poets,
Cover us with your care,
and offer honest counsel,
from any face hater.

If you walking this way,
Don’t lose your heart and mind,
evil will pass away
from poetry unkind.

Hey, evil awful hater!
Carefully listen us:
We’ll prove you — words are matter! —
in Poetry in Arms.

We do it not for a glory,
Nor any applause goal,
But tell you all the story
What still lives in our soul.

And when depression hits you,
Can't hold your pen like sword,
Let all your thinks will go to:
Weapon is hide in word.

Despite life meet last hour —
Our poems never burns
And we will live in our —
Poetry in Arms.

United States - Forever Free

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America -------///---\\\------- In Philadelphia’s summer heat, Colonies rose to break defeat. An alien crown across the sea, No longer ruled our destiny. Despite the roar of distant hates, They wrote the birth: United States. Where rights are not a gift of kings, But truth that every person brings. "We hold these truths," document said, Like thunder rolling overhead: That life and freedom must belong To every voice, however strong. Through fear of war and breaking ties, Beneath uncertain, watchful skies, They signed their names in bold resolve, To let a new world form and evolve. And now, two hundred fifty years, By triumphs, happiness and tears, A shining hope for all to see, United States — Forever Free. -------///---\\\-------
