What I'll miss most

The best thing about you is that you're my sister
My first friend, my best friend
I wouldn't want anyone else to play that role in my life

You play it perfectly
Every act, every sentence
Like you rehearsed it like such

I love being in your presence
Each moment with you is a memory I'll never forget

When we grow up, I won't see you as much
We'll go our separate ways
And probably only see eachother on holidays

But I'll always remember how our hugs used to go on forever
How we always seemed happier together

Cause when I grow up
The thing I'll miss most is you

Words don't help

Books have more words than you
They're well formulated and organized
They don't leave you on a clue
They know what they're going to say

But I don't
I mix up my words
Say things that are incorrect
My sentences seem to fly away like birds

I apologize for my rapidity
I say the first thing on my mind
Never let the other person have last
To much confusion and ragidity

I never seem to say the right thing
When I just listen
People seem to put me under their wing

When words aren't enough
Just stop saying stuff

There is an I in team

There's no I in team

I hate this saying

Am I not apart of the team?

When my coaches say it it's so annoying

It makes no sense

Like I get that there's literally no I in the word team

But if you think about it the other way then it's wrong

I don't know it might just be me

A fallen arrow

I like her, but I don't know if she likes me

It's hard to tell honestly

She talked and texted me platonically

Then she ghosted me for a while

She's like a projectile

Soars through the air then slowly falls

Loses interest, doesn't answer my calls

But now it's different, it's like I've picked up the arrow

And she's been waiting alot

She's more talkative, less narrow

I think it's time for me to pick up my bow and shoot my shot

Pressure doesn't make diamonds

Pressure, pressure, pressure
Hurts, hurts, hurts
Under so much pressure

Pressure to do the right thing
Pressure to be something
Doing all this hard work
Just for my failures to lurk

Pressure, pressure, pressure
Crack, crack, crack
Under so much pressure

Even after all that pressure
You don't get anything better
Still the same results
Still the same faults

Pressure, pressure, pressure

The Real One

Mellow from head to toe

He’s got more swag than Duolingo

Excellant musical taste for someone that isn’t copy paste

Knows more than just the basics of aesthetics

Got so much style, he’s so worth while

A heart so pure I’d die chasing him more than a mile

Considerate of others, sometimes I wish we were brothers

-I present to you Brady Battram

Don't let the grass get too long

If your grass is overgrown

You might need to step off your throne

And do the work that needs to be done

Because your lawn is more important than your fun

Don't get me wrong

I hate when the grass is long

But sometimes it's hard to get out there

Sometimes it's easier just to sit in my chair

Cutting that grass is really important

I just can't bring myself to make a dent

I love that grass

But I think I'll pass

I just want friends

All I want is friends

For people to notice me and accept me for who I truly am

For me to be my authentic self and not push people away for being different

For others to come to me before I go to them

I know sometimes I just want to be the center of attention but sometimes it’s different, sometimes I just want to have people who truly care about me how I care for them

It’s hard to make new friends

to find the right people

the people who have the right values and morals

the people who make you laugh even when they’re not trying

the people who don’t make fun of you for being different

the people who care

You don't eat a sandwich with a fork

You have to use the right tool for the job

Or else it won't work and you'll sob

When you do it without a fight

You know your doing it right

Trying to eat a sandwich with a fork just won't work

You have to use your hands or else you won't smirk
