A Soldiers Thoughts

A SOILDERS THOUGHTS

I cannot sleep tonight
rarely can I sleep in the day
My grip is tight and my eyes alert
so you can have a safe place to lay;

There are eyes that watch my every move
eyes of fiery red
Hoping to catch me slip an inch
hoping to see me dead;

From door to door I knock real hard
hoping that they will let let me in
My life in constant danger
as I search for these ruthless men;

Everyone speaks the same
for it's I who's in a foreign land
The only difference between right and wrong
is when they raise up their evil hand;

I realize that I am not on vacation
as I stare deep into their mirror
I realize that I have a job to do
And that is to fight against this terror....

Never Say I Love You

As I fly off into this sky
of deep and open space,
A flash of lightning strikes
as a tear drops from my face.

Away I shall fly
far far away,
For you have truly hurt me
with words I cannot say.

Words like Love or Friendship
and Memories that we shared,
It only makes me wonder
if you really ever cared.

One day you shall see
as you regret the choices you made,
My love for you is gone
and the memories too shall fade.

Because of you,
I shall never say "I love you"
to another if I meet,
My heart is right where you left it
at the bottom of my feet.

"one" Or the "other"

As ONE grows stronger
the feelings are so devine,
As the OTHER does the same
your clock loses time...

ONE feels great
just as it should,
the OTHER causes pain
just as burning timbers of wood...

ONE takes Faith
and Understanding for one another,
the OTHER takes control of your mind, body and soul
and your heart it will smoother...

ONE makes you smile
and eager to share your life,
the OTHER makes you frown
and will cut you like a knife...

ONE makes you happy
and fulfills your every need,
the OTHER will make you angry
and cause your heart to bleed...

ONE will make your life worth while
and fill your every desire,
the OTHER will make you miserable
and set all your goals on fire...

I would definitely choose ONE
anytime over THE OTHER,
cause ONE gives you hope
and THE OTHER will cause you to lose a brother...

ONE I have called 'LOVE'
with it you will become someone,
THE OTHER I called 'HATE'
it will leave you all alone...

Mends a Broken Heart

Her loves sheds light
on my crushed broken heart,
A heart now free of all pain and sorrow
that once tore it apart...

My heart now filled
with lots of joy, happiness and a wonderful glee,
She now shows her love
a love for only me...

Do I truly
deserve such a gracious love?
Did God send me his blessings
a blessing from above???

Am I just in a dream
that I see only at night,
Or is this love for real
or my selfish over sight???

One thing for sure
that I know is no mistake,
My baby truly loves me
For her love is not a fake...

Thank you my love
for my heart you did mend,
I now know most certainly,
Your love God did send...

The Meadows

THE MEADOWS

A soft gentle breeze flows through the quite meadows
as the birds and butterflies joyfully sing and dance,
The perfect scene for you and I
The perfect scene for romance.

With all of our troubles set aside
with no worries on our minds,
The meadows seem to have adopted us
we have become as one of their kind.

So much peace, so much freedom
so much joy
We both entered these meadows as adults
But have now become a little girl and a boy.

"Sing" she says to me,
"for the birds shall sing with you"
"dance" I say to her,
"and the butterflies will too."

I Am the Eraser

I seen your life
I seen your faults
all I shall erase.

I seen your errors
I seen the terror
all I shall erase.

For you are the chalk
your life the blackboard
all that you write
I can make go away
for I am " The Eraser."

Brother and His Newborn Sister

For the very first time
He discovers a new face
As he stares into her eyes
She drifts off into space.

“This is my little sister?”
He questions the man above.
“Why she is very beautiful.”
“Pure as a heavens dove!”

For the very first time
He held her in his hands
He too, then drifted off
Now he understands.

A Boy and His Best Friend

A boy and best friend named Killer,
Together they shall grow.
When one is very ill,
The other surely knows!

Faithful to one another,
They played games and also liked to run.
Though one was so much faster,
Together they still had fun.

Faithful and oh so loyal,
He was Johnny's good best friend.
They protected one another,
Until Killer's bitter end!

Sisters Passing

Life has curves
in the roads that are paved
bruised and battered memories
some we have forgotten some we have saved.
All my life I looked into the heavens
for all of the answers
Now I'm seeking for God
his Angels and his dancers.
Sitting in prison
with no one to hold
I scream out at Jesus
who now I began to scold.
WHY?, I ask
in a rumbling rage
DID YOU TAKE MY LITTLE SISTER
AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE?
Cursing at God
in a ugly angry voice
I ask, WHY HER
AND NOT ME AS YOUR CHOICE?
ARE YOU NOT BRAVE ENOUGH
TO TAKE ON THE WICKED
THAT YOU PRANCE ON THE WEAK
AND PUNCH OUT HER TICKET?
SHOW ME YOUR FACE
AND STAND STRONG AGAINST ME
SHOW ME YOUR WRATH
IF YOU ARE ALL YOU CLAIM TO BE!
TAKE ME GOD
AND GIVE BACK MY BABY SISTER
SEND ME TO HELL
AND LET MY SKIN BLISTER!
Just as I started
to curse him out more
Something suddenly happened
as I was knocked to the floor.
The sky began to thunder
and my cell door started to rattle
Did God finally show up
to fight this lonely battle.
Within this mist
I continued to stare
Thinking, 'He wouldn't come
He wouldn't even dare'!
Suddenly the room
began to clear
dazed and confused
a voice I can hear!
Soft and warm
the voice said to me
Relax big brother
it's me your sister Sandy!
The voice said, "Don't be sad
or feel any sorrow
Live your life today
for there is always tomorrow!
Where I am at
is full of wondrous glory
Just read your Bible
it will tell you the story!
Be calm and be there
for our mother
Be strong for sisters
and for our brothers!
I'm just fine
and singing in Gods Choir
So please don't weep
and let your eyes tire!
God has plans
for each and everyone
For me and for you
and for all that we have done!
It's never to late
to open your heart and your eyes
You too could live in this Kingdom
of clear blue skies!
Within seconds
the cell room cleared
The vision was gone
and all that I feared.
Full of warmth
and a comfortable feeling
I surrendered to God
and started to kneeling.
These feelings I have
will never be the same
There is more to life
than this prison game.
Upon my release
and as I exit this cell
I will kindly remind myself
that I was living in Hell.
So thank you little sister
for this vision so real
Soon we will be together
and share Gods glorious will.
I have now made my peace with God
and pleased with his decision
I will gracefully thank him
and praise him for this vision.

I Cry

For those who have served
and died for our freedom
I cry.

For those who's families
have suffered a lose
I cry.

For those who left
thier children alone
I cry.

For those who lost
thier mothers, fathers,
sons and daughters
I cry.

As I salute you for your bravery
tears I will cry from sorrow
You shall never be forgotten
for tears I will cry tomorrow.
