Doin' Rarest Art

Somebody asked, "How am I?"
I said, "I'm winning."
I woke up today,
saw the flawsome me,
simply running on my chosen way —
I am living.

They say that's what 8 billion people do.
I said, "No, hon, not all souls live —
some just exist."
Weak enough to drown in the dark,
stuffed in the smallest box,
where megahertz sounds come as bark.
Not privileged enough to see beyond boundaries,
not lucky enough to find serenity
even in a forest full of trees.

So is it their fault, or is God involved in this crime?
I reckon it's about damn time.
There is always a moment when light does reach
bajillion depths of layers.
It's just the art of patience we need.
We've gotta believe the universe
and let our spirits lead.

They say this is all a myth.
It's easy to say, "Explore places,
become an extrovert, meet hundreds of faces."
But not everyone's free.
Not all are millionaires to book trips,
enjoy in their yachts,
always tie happy knots.

I asked them, "Who says you need something to be happy?"
There isn't a device that can be purchased for a smile.
Enjoy the present moment. Listen to your favorite music.
Dance to the songs with the people you cherish.
Have a memory just like a goldfish.
Don't think about what everyone’s gonna think.
People will judge — that's what’s gonna let you sink.

There’s gonna be a time when all living creatures today will be dead.
Not a single soul would remember what you looked like,
what you said,
whom you wed.
Ain’t this a good reason to do every single thing
you just thought to give a shot?

Text that person right now.
Run to that country soon.
Ignore the warning saying "caution"
appearing in your mind before every step.
Just select the chores you made in your mind map
before you wake up one morning at 60 thinking,
"Oh, I did everything only in my nap."
That time, it'd be hard to love
the picture you see in the mirror.

I hugged my murderers

Those who served salt on my wounds,
snatched my childhood diary,
threw it into orange fumes.
I hugged them.

Burned my dreams, locked every door;
my favourite scarf, they tore.
The depth of darkness they showed in their core—
fear of a knock on the door
since the age of four.

I sit beside my window,
watch a homeless snore.
I find his life a dream of mine—
jealousy from my eyes gets poured.

Yet after decades, I hold a smile;
all scars, perfectly, I hide.
I gift sweetness to the monsters
who drank my blood.
I offered bonds to the evils
who used to flood—

floods of tears,
oceans of sadness,
peace of heavy weight.

Yet apparently,
this is my karma.
This is my fate.

POV: It’s Sept 17- That Big Smile Won’t Go Off My Face

The summer we always shared,
Those nights—just memories we had
Everything vanished in one go—
The ache remains? I don’t think so.

It’s just that I’m guilty of letting you go.
I didn’t try harder—that frustrates me, though I never let it show.

If I had spoken,
Things would’ve been different.
But the promises made on your mum’s deathbed aren’t meant to be broken,
Even if they shut the door of happiness you always left open.

This will be my last presence, before I shift abroad,
And my eyes must be paid back by dear Lord—
To bear and endure the most excruciating scene,
One which’ll be witnessed by every part of me.
It’s not unavoidable, though my brother wants me to see,
How you two confess your “love” for each other to the world,
And you’ll soon be a couple —while I clap with a smile,
Pretending I’ve heard the most wonderful news in a while.

A final caution—don’t look at me while walking down the aisle,
’Cause then I won’t be able to look back into your eyes.
I can’t let my feelings out on the best day of your life,
I gotta accept the fate,
That it’s just you and Jere and 10/10 I rate.

Paris

Old money home,
white curtains drawn,
shadow of the moon
bringing the violin back in tune.

I open the diary,
look at the old pages,
the desperate wishes.
Now I live.

To walk on the streets,
the fashion,
old luxury on my body,
the rich stock of scent,
the exclusive watch on my wrist,
power, confidence in my fist.

The glowing tower at night.
I dance, I make a wish, I cry, I live—
the life my old version always needed.

To experience the city of dreams,
as a niche class of society,
champagne in the backseat,
returning to the palace I built.

Alarms came alive.
Reality hits.
Oh, this dream,
I badly wanna live.

Infinite wish lists in Eight billion pockets

Millions of decades ago,
ancient humankind had one purpose in life:
to find prey
every day,
a stomach that stayed full
until the next breath,
until the last breath.

Ideas stormed,
things evolved,
brains grew creative,
and eventually, we were called the smartest species on Earth.

Here we are, humans of today’s bin,
seeing the air around us
and wondering:
is this how it has always been?

This very planet once had souls whose purpose was big, yet small.
"Laughter, smiles — that's all we want."

However, today's baby is born with a paper and pen.
They start writing down desires, one after another, until the last day.
And boom — the list has already crossed a thousand before the age of ten.

From one corner of the world come screams for money and hymns,
while from another come cries for love.
This world is now full of deafening screams.
People are becoming breathless, chasing empty dreams.

A smile, evoked by ninety-nine reasons,
vanishes because of one statement.
The heart is weak,
the brain dominates.
It's the new normal.
The 8 billion pockets are getting heavy,
but are we ready?

Red Fountain

The seat next to mine,
occupied yet vacant,
the gap of your voice
bringing drought in my self,
in the gardens of joy you had sown.
It's been a while since they have grown.

The roots aren't deep,
the extra care it sweeps,
the paling of flowers,
like they wanna weep.

The open air,
swings and fountain,
all of it fades away.
Dark clouds in the sky,
acid rain,
sunlight can't find its way.

The haunting nights with a broken heart,
made of glass,
every edge cuts every emotion,
bleeding can't resist its motion.

The blood turns black,
the poison they detect,
all of the body's blue,
the cursed soul is left undue.

When Nostrils Lead to an Era

Getting late,
friends calling,
car starts,
“Guys, please wait.”

Let people know I'm coming
before I enter,
let my perfume introduce me,
the rich man with expensive fur.

In the dark, the golden cap I see,
three sprays on my body,
frozen world surrounding me.
The echoes in my mind—
“Oh, I love this scent.”
The harmony of voices fills my ears,
the blurred era vividly appears.

The specific bottle held memories.
I stopped using it.
I felt someone's with me.
My brain'd spin, nothing else I could see.

The moments lit like flames,
deceiving my head,
the movie of the past
plays on the screen of the heart.

Oh, the way I always wore that—
every meet, every event,
the same compliment I'd get.
“It’s for someone special,”
I'd flirt back.

The days when I had to see you,
when I'd hope our distance's be on a diet,
I would spray that special liquid,
the magical moments it signifies.

Lights on!

My friend's red.
He grabs my hand.
The revision of the past just had to end.

Wings Of Freedom

Dreaming to fly like a bird,
Living in this world feels so absurd.
Hoping to live a life, where I follow my dreams,
Yet feeling quite scared, to hear my own screams.
Not getting petrified of any damage,
Is the key to get a mindset, full of courage.
I want to run and leave this cage,
Somewhere out, somewhere far away from any kind of rage.

Me - The Creator Of My Destiny

It's so relaxing these days,
Because I get to pick what I want to chase.
My life used to be a complete mess,
But now it has become boundless.
Many chores are happening around me, but I just couldn't care less.
Walking on my chosen way,
Was something I used to dream of every day.
Living my life on my own,
Without caring for anyone's call on my phone.
I ain't seeking any justification or sorry;
I know it was the best decision, erasing those memories and leaving that city in a lorry.
I am finally living a life that is poison-free,
While scouring the joyful parts of it, which earlier I couldn't see.
I'll make sure to feel every moment around me until I die...
I want to live in a world of truth, without any lie.
However, someone had put restrictions on my rights,
Preventing me from seeing this world in open lights.
Eventually, darkness had to leave my sight,
Because I chose to confront it and give it a tough fight!
Now I am capable of achieving every height,
Because I want to live my dreams and not just see them every night.
There's no cacti on my way;
"I am happy in my life," I can confidently say.
I call myself "The Creator of My Destiny."
Don't let your dreams shatter; just fight for them, honey.

2061 It's Coming Again

The day, night feels shy;
every eye stares
with love, hope,
the history in the sky.

It's coming after decades,
beholding its promise
to meet the Earth, the people,
those who waved at it.

It might not see the same eyes.
The air will be different,
the blossomed flowers it will see;
everything has changed since the last bye.

Once in an entire lifetime,
witnessing its shine,
feeling the universe,
the magic that will arrive.

Here it comes.

The screams are none,
'cause the inner voice is louder.
The flashing in the sky,
the famous celebrity for the night.

Some wishes, some cries;
serenity lies in the sky.

A few seconds were enough.
Life was worth it.
Every heart was lit.

God's favorites had the second chance
to feel the marvel again.
They ponder the journey between two points.
They look behind,
the road that was traveled.

Now I can die peacefully.

Halley's Comet winked at me.
