Neo Lechwenyo Poem
I am Neo Lechwenyo,
Born under the September skies,
On the 19th day, in ‘07,
A boy raised in Kimberley,
In a world where shadows and light collide.
I grew up fatherless,
A silent ache in my chest,
A story untold,
A man not there to teach me how to be a man.
But in his absence, I found strength—
To create, to dream, to rise,
To find my voice in poetry, in music,
In the rhythm of words that healed my soul.
I am the son of a woman who gave all,
Who left too soon,
But her love lingers in the echoes of my heart,
Guiding me even in the darkest moments.
Her memory, a beacon I follow—
Even though the world was never kind,
She gave me a fire, a passion,
To carve my name into the world’s fabric.
Through my art, I tell my truth—
In poems and songs,
I confront my anger,
My hurt,
The things that tried to break me.
I use my music to channel what’s been buried,
To speak the pain, the love,
The battles I fight every day.
And then, I met her—
Ntshepeng,
The light in my world,
The one who turned my darkness into something pure,
A love that’s beyond words,
A word I created: Lovinity.
A love that isn’t in the dictionary,
But lives in the space between us,
In every touch, every laugh,
Every moment we share.
I am not defined by my losses,
Nor by the absence of those who should’ve been there.
I am defined by what I create,
By the way I choose to rise from the ashes,
By the way I love,
And the way I keep fighting—
Every single day.
I am Neo Lechwenyo,
A poet, a musician,
A dreamer,
A son,
A man who knows pain,
But knows how to turn it into purpose.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
To those who’ve walked this road alone,
With hearts that ache and minds that roam,
A void where guidance should have been,
A silence loud, a secret sin.
Your steps were small, but dreams were wide,
Yet shadows came, no hand to guide.
In every tear, in every fight,
You’ve found your strength in darkest night.
No father’s voice to calm your fear,
No words of love to draw you near.
But know this truth, through every pain,
You’re not defined by what you’ve gained.
For strength, dear soul, is in your heart,
A warrior’s fire, a work of art.
Your worth is not in what you lack,
But in the courage to come back.
So rise again, with all your might,
Turn every storm into your light.
The world may not have shown you how,
But you will teach them, here and now.
You are not lost, though you’ve been tossed,
In time, you’ll find your path across.
And when you do, let this be known
You’ve never truly been alone.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
They told my mom, "It's a girl" with a smile,
But fate had different plans, and that’s okay.
For two years long, I wore the sweetest style,
In pink, I found my world, my heart, my way.
The blanket’s warmth still lingers on my skin,
A memory of times when life was kind.
Though years have passed, this love won’t wear too thin,
For pink holds all the love I've yet to find.
But grief came swiftly, took my heart to fight,
Two souls I loved, now gone, the pain runs deep.
One week apart, they left me in the night,
But in their loss, I learned to stand, to leap.
For pink is more than just a color bright,
It’s strength, it’s hope, it’s love that never dies.
A die heart for pink, forever in my sight,
Through loss, through joy, I’ll wear it with my pride.
So though the world may change, my love will stay,
For pink is part of me, it’s here to stay.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
My inbox’s a mess, who cares though?
Too many emails, I’m just tryna let go.
"Read this, reply now," but nah, not today,
I’ll get to it later—ain’t no other way.
Every time I open, it's just more spam,
“Unsubscribe,” I swear, I don’t give a damn.
Work emails, bills, “Please check this link”
But honestly, I’d rather just sit and think.
It’s the 21st century, like who’s got time?
Constant pings, notifications all the time.
But guess what? I’m living my life,
Emails? Yeah, they’re just adding to the strife.
I scroll for a second, then close it all,
Hit “Mark as read,” I don’t care at all.
Tomorrow maybe, or next week—who knows?
But for now, I’m chillin', letting that stuff go.
So forget the inbox, forget the stress,
I’m gonna vibe, not deal with the mess.
I’m young, I’m free, I don’t need that weight,
I’ll check my emails—maybe... like, next date.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
I hate vapes, with all that they bring,
A little cloud, but it cuts like a sting.
They caught my brother, trapped in their lie,
A puff of freedom, but it's just to die.
It starts so simple, just one little try,
But now he's hooked, and I can’t ask why.
Flavored air that coats his soul in chains,
A habit that lingers, and only brings pain.
He thought it cool, thought it was the way,
But now he’s drowning in the smoke each day.
No escape, just chasing that high,
As the world passes by and he can't say goodbye.
The clouds they form, a prison in disguise,
He breathes them in, with empty, tired eyes.
It’s flavored air, but it’s more than that—
It’s control, it's poison, it’s where he’s at.
I wish he'd see, wish he'd understand,
That this "cool" thing is a trap, not a brand.
I hate vapes for what they steal,
For the freedom lost, the pain I feel.
But he's my brother, and I'll fight till the end,
To help him break free, to help him ascend.
Flavored air may cloud his mind,
But I'll be here, helping him unwind.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
I logged on, a world so wide,
But the words they threw, I couldn’t hide.
Behind the screen, they didn’t care,
Spreading lies, I felt despair.
The mocking comments, the cruel replies,
Each one a dagger, each one a lie.
Friends who once stood by my side,
Now joined the crowd, and left me to hide.
The pressure built, the pain too much,
The hate online, I could feel its touch.
So I made a choice, to walk away,
To silence the noise, to end the dismay.
I deactivated my accounts, cut the chain,
No more torment, no more pain.
I focused on my life, took back my soul,
Tried to heal, tried to make me whole.
Betrayed by friends I once held close,
Their words like knives, sharp and gross.
But in their leaving, I found my light,
A chance to grow, a chance to fight.
I built myself from pieces torn,
From the silence of the pain I’d worn.
And though they thought I’d fall apart,
I rose again, with a stronger heart.
I found my strength in solitude,
In quiet moments, I found my mood.
The world outside may try to break,
But inside me, there’s nothing they can take.
I came back stronger, wiser too,
No longer a victim, I know what’s true.
The past may sting, but now I see—
It gave me power to just be me.
So let them talk, let them sneer,
I’ve found my peace, I’ve found my cheer.
No more hiding, no more fear,

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
In silence, I am waging a fierce war,
A battle deep within my fragile soul.
No one can see the fight that I endure,
A quiet war that never makes me whole.
I wear a mask, I smile, I joke, I laugh,
But deep inside, I’m fighting for my life.
The pain is real, it cuts me in half,
And yet I stand, amidst the endless strife.
I seek the strength to face each waking day,
To fight the dark and hold the light inside.
For though the battle rages, I will stay,
And in the end, I’ll learn how to abide.
The quiet battle may not end today,
But I will fight, I’ll rise, I’ll find my way.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
A 15-year-old’s eyes, sharp and bright,
Watching his mother through day and night.
She stands strong, but her heart feels torn,
In the classroom, she’s a beacon, but at home, she’s worn.
She teaches with passion, guiding each mind,
But when the bell rings, her smile’s hard to find.
Her shoulders, heavy, weighed by the years,
Fighting silent battles, hidden in tears.
Her lesson plans scattered, books left unread,
She’s up late working while he’s tucked in bed.
A mother and teacher, both roles she plays,
Sacrificing herself in so many ways.
Her hands are tired, but her spirit won’t bend,
The world asks much, but she won’t let it end.
He sees the tired eyes, the stress on her face,
Yet, she smiles when he calls her, offering grace.
She’s the heart of the house, the rock they rely on,
But there’s a loneliness that lingers till dawn.
A single mom, giving all that she can,
Hoping that he’ll grow to understand.
To the boy, she’s everything, a love so true,
And he silently vows, as the years pass through,
To lift her burden, to help her stand tall,
For the woman who gave him everything, after all.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
A golden son, he walks with steady stride,
His heart a mirror of his mother’s might.
Through years of struggle, she’s been by his side,
A beacon burning bright through endless night.
Her hands, though worn, have molded him with care,
Each lesson whispered through the weight of time.
She wore her burdens lightly, unaware
Of how her strength would lift him so sublime.
He sees her weariness, the tears she hides,
Yet in her eyes, a spark that will not die.
A love unspoken, deep where silence bides,
She gave him wings and taught him how to fly.
To her, this son will ever be the one,
The golden gift, her battle’s hard-won son.

Neo Lechwenyo Poem
The glow of lights, a warmth that fills the air,
Where laughter spills like rivers in the night.
A family’s bond, a love beyond compare,
And every bite feels like a pure delight.
The sizzle of the grill, the smell so sweet,
A table set with fries and burgers wide.
The chatter hums, a rhythm soft and neat,
As stories shared bring joy we cannot hide.
In moments like these, time itself stands still,
The world outside can wait for just a while.
For here, within these walls, hearts love to fill,
And simple moments stretch with endless smile.
Nights at Spur, where comfort always stays,
A home away, where joy forever plays.
