Not Meant to Say Goodbye

We hugged every night
We kissed till the dawn
We smiled till our faces ached
We held each other while our tears would combine and time slowed down
We became one with our secrets
We intertwined our fingers while saying goodnight
And I went to bed not knowing that
I was not the last thing to touch you,
It was the rope wrapping your throat.

Can't Throw It Up

I can watch it simmer
And you can slop it on the plate
But nothing can distract me
From the heaviness that sags
On my body with
Each swallow and chew.
A sneaky grin sits on the pot
As I grab some more
Because it knows.
Everyone knows.
That no matter what number I am
I will always eat more
And more.

Will you kiss me as deeply as you bite me?
The wave over my troubles
The bandaid over my blood
The rain over my drought
The brush over my tangled mess
And the wind running through my over-dued skin
If I wait,
And wait
And no peace comes to my soul
Was I used?
Or shall I keep waiting for the spark
To save me from a life
Of impurity.

Empty

Yearning for threading hands
into a pit of endless need.

Crying for soft lips
trailing down my
bloodied limbs.

Praying for that soft embrace
that people dedicate lives for.

Grasping for the mindless
following and devotion
that blesses the soul.

Craving for the sweet eyes
Swimming in a familiar pair of empty orbs.

This is all I wish for.
But as time passes on
And love becomes unknown,
When will I finally save myself and
Embrace the void.

One with the devil

Suck me dry
And watch me fester
Light the church a blaze
And breath into the stench of charring flesh
Watch my hazy eyes turn dull
And let my cheeks turn gray
Carve the cross into my flesh
And accept the blood that weeps
Hear my cries of distress
And convince yourself it's the devil burrowing in.
There isn't much more for me here
Except a tempting dare.
From the prince of evil himself.

Neptune

You're too far gone
Too cold
Too distant
I can't hear your heartbeat anymore over the milky blue swirls
Only the silence in the night sky between cold breaths
The same silence that lingered between messages the day you left
The same silence that haunted me each night
And then…your breath went cold
That's when I realized where your soul finally lies at rest.
Neptune
I can't bring you back to the sun
I cant warm your skin
I can't look you in your eyes and tell to hold on
You're stuck on Neptune
Till the end of eternity.

Natsuki

I can sit there and breathe
Knowing your eyes are rested.
But deep down I know
Like a sick knot that wont untwist
That it took your pale lifeless body
To finally be able to see
That there really is peace
Even if its only in death.

Just a Woman

Eat my flesh
As you take my voice
Smother me with commands
And take away my rights
You hate my kind,
hate my given anatomy
Yet you still want more of a “mutton dressed as lamb”
Even though i “defy” your masculinity and “steal” away your careers
You still want more.
I ask you this while still being under your eye.
Am I still a man's daughter?
Or am I just your easy game?
Doesn't really matter in the end.
I am just a woman.

My Love

If I to love you, I must drown
Because to love you,
I must strip myself
Of all protection
And I must choke on
My own bloody desires
In the pool of lust and passion
But for you darling,
I am willing,
to see the hazy end
I am willing to love you so,
That my adoration and worship
Seeps from my eyes and through sacred words
Leaving me only yours
Till the earth rots over.

Insignificant

Are we the same my dear?
Do we shed the same blood?
Do we breathe the same air?
Do we fight for the same battle?
Or do we fight against each other?
Do you pray every night for my downfall as I pray for yours?
Or do you smell the same flowers that I do?
Are we the same or different?
We may be unalike in our fights
But in the end
We are just one battle in a world of war.
