Emma Bonnell Poem
The day you died,
Apart of me died with you,
Im not sure what part as i havent found it yet, leaving me like a half tank car
Left me with a hole from your loss,
But apart of me died too
So im reality i died too.
If you die ill die with you

Emma Bonnell Poem
It was supposed to be us
Happy and carefree,
Doing our own thing,
But you chose her,
You left me for her,
My heart in your pocket,
Bleeding as you walk off with her,
A empty hole now replacing my heart
It was supposed to be us.

Emma Bonnell Poem
In the seat of my soul,
Lies a broken girl,
The one who's seen too much,
The one where her palms sweat,
Her soul gone,
The ones thats scared of her past,
Because her past is too much,
Too much for her to handle
Too much for her to forget
In the seat of my soul,
Sits a little girl who wished to be saved.
To be protected
Out of reach for harm
But her soul was to take
Her soul was in the seat.

Emma Bonnell Poem
When i was a little girl, i wished to be a princess that has a king come save her. But does that king ever come? It seems as kings only come in fairytales and never in real life.
Theres all these new definitions that ive learned about like "guy pretty" or ratings, apparently each guy looks for the same features in a girl like light eyes, straight teeth, perfect skin, along with the ratings of how they rate a girl being ugly or beautiful.
I have never been that girl that guys choose over any other female. I've never been given that unconditional love that everyone talks about. The kind where the guy falls head over heels for a girl and shows that he loves her. Ive never had that and I want that. Its making me question so many things. Like, Am I Unlovable? Am i just pretty enough to look at but not date? Only good when you need me but when you don't i dont matter?
I feel unlovable, I want to be loved but I dont think thats meant for me.

Emma Bonnell Poem
Loving the gone is hard,
The ache for them that simply never goes away, the feeling of numbness and sadness taking over you as you think of them.
Loving the gone,
Gone but never forgotten,
Never forgotten because you simply cant,
You cant forget them,
No matter how hard you try,
The love you have for them will always be there, making it impossible to forget.
Loving the gone.

Emma Bonnell Poem
She was 5.
Not a glimpse of sadness in her eyes
Full of life
Then one day, She met you at 5
Next door neighbor , Not a fear in sight
She climbed into the treehouse with you on her right
That was when she had to fight to get your hands off of her, To cry out but none to help her, She just cried unable to stop you,
You put sadness in her eyes.
Took the innocence out of her life, Took her spark with you
Her eyes now empty, No spark no innocence. Just the tears you caused when you hurt her, Took her childhood away from her.
Now shes 18 and got ptsd, Trying to live her life, yet you still haunt her
Panic attacks and flashbacks,
She wishes she could go back and save herself when she was 5,
She was 5 when you took her life from her eyes,
She was 5.
