Little girl lost

Little girl lost
Without emotion
She floats on concrete
Shoes uffed over puddles
Running toward mommie
But mommie doesn't
Understand how to
feed this little
girl who is lost

And so without hope
And stranded in a
Rain Forrest she
Opens her diary
But only to close it
Without the words
She is lost for words
Lost without money
She chokes on P & B
Sandwiches
But stumiks the upsets
Of a broken Vail in her belly
She hides and trys to find somber

Sweet melodies
That will put her to sleep

Little girl lost
That's what people call her
In prison now
Hooked up to a mic now
She checks "1" 1 "2"
And speaks " who does really care"
This girl is gone and blue in the face
Of emotions
Final
Little girl lost.

Alice is false

Mother was always honest with me
But I wasn't, open to school
Sceard boys don't play with lies
It's a secret sacreard to all
Where is she?
Home with me and others
Then why won't she write
Read, or come up with another
Child, because we are her only
Me & my brother, write Alice, read Alice
Make another answer for those teachers
Andre can't hide you no more
Neither can Quincy, read Alice, write Alice
Go home with them and do as I told you
To do!
Please don't ask why, ask how could they,
In there school, do her like that.

Because of you

All because I wasn't willing
To go all the way
She couldn't stay for me
It wasn't death
More like life
I was on her like children
In a playground
We played for hours
On moms bed
She and I weren't
Yet 18, but possessed
Everything to go all
the Way

Because she wouldn't stop
For me
I couldn't stop for her

The two of us on a
Course, treating it like
A fast moving door
Treading in water like
A junkie on there last hit
wanting each other so bad
But neither of us stopped to protect
Ourselves

When mourning came, I
Was melted ice cream
While she was a hot
Shower, no wonder people
Say "tell us was it good"?
I just smiled and walked
With a nod"yes" and no one
Ever knew how
She almost cemented me,
It was like a picture a
Painter painted
On and on without the
Proper colors
It was me at 18 and her
At just 17 and we gave
Each other a hug, knowing
It wouldn't be our last.

Didactic & Epilogue

Human nature

No dont touch me
You hit me first
So tell me why
Why, why, why/ Dont touch me
Just sit
Another strike
And another
One last one
Bow, boom, kabow
Now its over
And no one knows
Why.

Creation

A baby is born
And no one knows why
Well through it in the garbage can
Like Tupac said
*
"Tell mama don't cry"
What a life
What a life it lived,
And no one knows
why
Except you.

african american poetry

Be Cool

Just like James Dean

And his leather coat was so soft

His ledger was smoke only,

When it’s time to play

His winds were elegant

And air was elegant

High times

Cliff climb

A speed racer

And no time to talk

It’s just move

And just go ahead

The 1st place finisher

The only one built for this

And so, being cool takes a lot time

Lastly, cool is just this Awesome.

Love making

My love runs deeper than the abyss

And the washing of my blood is

As pure as the blue waters

Hot and spicy

The making of a man

And just like fine silk or satin

It’s a work in progress

The motion goes

up and down and all around

I can’t stopped

It only goes where I want it to go

The rip and pull and the hard

Or soft pull ups

Wow, spills of soft feathers

Running off legs and turning out

Her prairie can be heard in tombs

Click a clack

and night that’s when I’m off.

Allegiance

Areba’

Sizzle and summer

Now Go, Go, Go

And going in and going down

Now its coming in and coming down

Its Tito Puente

And Celia Cruz

Salsa and samba

What a CA-rumba.

Kindred

Two souls entangled

One man, one woman

Both kindred spirits

In toe

A broken heart

Laid out by the woman

& She claims Ethiopia

While he claims Africa

And now it’s time for them both to heal

He, a riotous mighty Osiris

There wind, there neck, it charms

Them both

Man he is

Son of god he claims

And the woman is a lady of the moon

Taking flight at night

They gather rain storms

With the sun and earth

Chills and more chills

Until later they both will remain

Unfazed by their adversaries.

Brown skin

Hey there my brown skin

Are you ash’

Then grab some

Shea’ butter and

Oil some my way

Dear brown skin

Why are you now afraid?

Afraid of the darker ones

Light skin it lights up

All while yours seem to stay

A lie

Out of the sight you take pleasers

Across the seas

Them you may take up tree bees

Why not pop up

A dream of Polynesian marks

And speak toward the covering of skin

Used for Brown skin and its elements’.

Jelly roll

Jelly roll

Pimpen’ stroll

Do this as it goes

Sweet on pastry’s

And now it’s plain to see

You’re not in a dip

Your back and black

in the innermost ways

See this is some easy stuff

That remains ran

If its money you’re after, then

My wife’s maybe captured

And so pimp my soul not hers

Never will you get my epiphany

Because it’s in time

Straight in all its claim

You remain vigil in them flowers’

So be will or be gone

From sight and someone differs

I guess they will never ever

Forget about Jelly Roll.

Sugar shack

The sugar shack

Is a place we call home

A place to get throned

You come here and find pretty

Women, and tickle their little toes

Play with big money

Or get ready to go home

Sugar, Sugar

That’s what I call it

So some hither, hither,

Because in here we don’t ever

Play around

Sugar, Sugar.

Domestic

I do the washing
i don't say anything

I half to cook

The mom

the wife
Ms. Sheila

I do it all
every night

everyday
it never gets old

when I'm nervous
I take pills

he hits the wall
It never fails

He's dad
He's mad as hell

He wont stop
he is a husband

I carry the rings
I needle alone

Where are the kids
in the rom?

We must accomplish more
We are never separated

when will it stop
when he is gone'

That's when ill be gone
gone home with my mamma'

Home tonight

Home tonight for E. Fitzgerald V. Vangouh

Carry on
Carry on
why'd you go
away,
the summers not
over yet

Stop the midnight
traffic
with your sour notes
stop it all in your
truse
"starry-starry
night"
paint the picture
& paint it right

Capture all that
turns the air grey
To capture all that
is turning the night time
Gay.
